Sold me OLD fish. When I got home I noticed that the eyes were opaque and when I put it in the oven it STUNK! It wasn't cheap either 15 quid for 4 sea bass.Never again going to Brixton to buy fish they are not serious and the whole market is just dirty but learnt to be overpriced like most of London when it gets trandy".. Better off going to Waitrose to get my fish."

Lovely shop with some delicious pantry goods. Some fresh veggies and a fab range of frozen dim sum goods too. Definitely be back to visit as the staff were so lovely and helpful

Does it have as good a range as China Town? No. But it's amazing having them in Brixton for great stuff I don't need to trek all the way to central London for. Service - don't expect a smile here. But that's just how it is.

Absolutely rude pitiful behaviour by the fish sellers in this shop.I have never been treated so rudely for just asking a simple question. You fish sellers don't realise how stupidly you behaved to me.

Having been disappointed by some fresh fish stalls in Brixton Market, which I have taken to describing as The Brixton Fish Museum I have found that the discerning nature of Chinese shoppers, who back in China would only consider choosing a fish while it was still alive, means that the fish I've found at this Chinese supermarket always to be fresh, though I still follow the advice I was once given and choose the sea bass with the clearest eyeballs. They won't have unpacked their fresh fish before about 9am and Thursday mornings around that time is good - not too busy.

It's handy having this shop near me. It's quite over priced on some items though, I can get some stuff for literally half the price in the Wing Yip supermarket in Croydon. But I do shop here fairly often and like to support my local businesses. It stocks everything you need for authentic Asian cuisine.

Very polite and friendly got what I needed, and what I didn't get was written down and told when to come back and buy it. Have been shopping here for nearly 3 to 4 years and never been let down ever. Good place to buy Chinese, Malaysian, Korean and Thai ingredients. If they don't have it, they will order it for you to pick up in a day or two.Best Asian shop in Brixton market. Would recommend it for everyone.
