Would 100% recommend this accommodation to anyone, staff are fantastic and willing help as much as they can. Rooms are spacious and can decorate pretty freely with enough shelf space for your things

Very spacious rooms, great staff, very secure and nice environment to be in. Having access to things such as the washing machines in the flats is a huge positive. Good location in the city. The only issues have been a broken extraction fan and some minor faults in flatmate's rooms, these are all being or have been fixed within the first weeks. The TV does not work as a smart TV and doesn't connect with internet.

Absolutely lovely to stay during uni, any issues had were fixed immediately and staff are really lovely!!

Awful accommodation.Coppergate team just do not do anything, they just sitting on the reception and waiting for the time to pass and go home.Prime team in general are very unprofessional and they do not even trying to help unsatisfied customer when it is their fault that the customer is unsatisfied as their facilities and the team are horrible.They are advertising everywhere that they are there to help when someone has a problem but it is just to show off this, they are not supporting anyone!The lift is breaking every month. The last time the lift was broken for 11 days and they weren’t doing anything.Avoid this accommodation, it is the worst in swansea and in the whole UK!

Please avoid this place or get ready for your darkest days of your life.The team working here is an absolute joke. They would not help you with anything at all. All they care is about making even more money from you. There is basically no amenities or facilities in the building. Promised 24/7 security but no one is even in the building after office hours. There’s basically no soundproofing, you can clearly hear others conversations next door. The kitchen fridge space is a joke you basically get less than one shelf per person. The room is also ridiculously small and the bathroom is constantly stinky as they messed up with the pipes when it is being built.They would never admit any mistakes that they make and they would not answer any queries meaningfully but rather keep repeating the same lies over and over again. The lifts are constantly down and they are blaming the lift company instead of taking up responsibility. Also they charged you for everything you didn’t do to squeeze more money from you. The team is extremely unprofessional and irresponsible about the building. They do not keep the building well maintained but they would charge tenants for their own faults. Dont expect anything from this company and dont even bother living here. It is basically hell and get prepared to be ripped off.

Only been living in coppergate for around 2 months and the team could not be more attentive and caring. Although being quite small it is perfect when going into a third year. Any issue I had brought up to them was not only sorted, but sorted within the day of asking. Regardless of being a small team they are doing so much that doesn’t go unseen. Would definitely recommend staying here :)

I've had a fantastic experience at Coppergate, my student accommodation as a Swansea University student. Compared to on-campus student halls, Coppergate offers exceptional value for money and a much nicer living environment. I've been here for a month now, and I can't help but appreciate the welcoming and spacious rooms. The desk space is ample, and the Small Double bed (queen-sized) adds to the comfort.One of the standout features is the expansive kitchen, diner, and lounge area. Although the walls may be a bit thin, it's surprisingly quieter than other accommodations I've encountered. I lucked out with a standard en-suite room in a flat of five, has been great.The staff here are incredibly helpful and always ready to provide information or assistance. While there's no on-site parking, I've found non-permit parking just a short 2-5 minute walk away, which feels safe enough to leave my car during my off-campus placements.The proximity to the Singleton Campus, a 25-minute walk, and frequent buses right outside connecting to Bay and Singleton campuses make getting to classes easy. Being in the heart of the city and close to everything is a significant plus.The accommodation has surpassed my expectations in terms of standards, with spacious and powerful showers. I would recommend Coppergate to other students. While it might not offer the full on-campus experience, it hasn't been a significant drawback for me.The only minor hiccup I encountered was that the room wasn't fully cleaned when I moved in (although I understand I arrived early), and there was some expired food in the fridge. However, the staff promptly addressed this issue within a few days, so I don't believe it should be a major concern for those moving in during the normal term time. If it is, just let the staff know, and they'll make things right. Overall, my stay here has been excellent, and I'm pleased to call Coppergate my home during my university studies.Edit: Reading others reviews I would like to add that they are correct in that there is not 24/7 security, but the reception desk is open during the day. However, if you call the emergency number (which I have done early in the morning) they will come and help within a few minutes - so there is someone on-site. Additionally, the facilities are avaliable as advertised and there is a free gym with the YMCA should you wish to go there (or you can get student deals with The Gym Group a few minutes walk away). There is also bulletproof free WIFI throughout the building, and there is the option to pay £20 a year to get upgraded so you have your own account and can connect Alexa/Google Home or WIFI printers to (that then only connect to your devices and no one else can access).
