Hazel Bank Bed & Breakfast

We stayed for one night at Hazel Bank B&B on our LEJOG cycling trip and our stay was fantastic. The bikes are safely stored at the back. The house is very warm and clean, and Ruth really made us feel at home. I asked her to book us a table at the local pub. She also gave us a 10% discount card. The bed was very comfy.Also the cooked breakfast is delicious!

5* for everything. A very warm welcome from the hostess and although she was not expecting our newborn baby boy (due to booking.com website failing to log our baby). She welcomed us and was kind enough to upgrade us to the en suite family room as it was free that night. Once we were settled she came to the room to meet our boy and even cuddled him and made him smile and laugh.She offered us a choice of continental and English breakfasts and left a complimentary bottle of cherrie in the room with 2 chocolate mints. The room was clean and tidy, bathroom immaculate and the hot drinks station was very generously stocked. Lovely stay and would gladly stay again. Highly recommended.

We shared a room as a couple with a toddler and things couldn't have been easier, comfier or more welcoming. The hosts were so friendly and went out of their way to welcome my little boy. There was complementary sherry and kettle with drinks in the room, which was lovely. The highlight was the comfort of the bed tho!I had a vegetarian breakfast and all elements, especially the vege haggis was great. Lots of fruit n cereals on offer too.Moffat is a lovely town, close to things I love, like Grey Mare's Tail waterfall and Samye Ling Tibettan Centre. I highly recommend this top end Bed and Breakfast.

We were here last year's summer (family of 5) for 1 night just because of overnight here from Skye to Heathrow by car, but it resulted one of our best experience in hospitality.The breakfast was amazing, abode is charming, unforgettable experience.

Lovely B&B in great location in Moffat.Excellent cosy room on arrival & complimentary decanter of sherry waiting for us !Ruth is Lovely host ,and personally showed us to their private offroad motorcycle parking place too.Full Scottish Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious too.Will definitely be booking again when next in Moffat .

Stayed here with 3 biker friends May 2023, everything was spot on, rooms are excellent and very comfortable beds, breakfast was amazing, Ruth was fantastic, nothing was too much trouble, secure off road parking for the bikes too. Will definitely be back

Wonderful wee bed and breakfast! Ruth is incredibly friendly and made us feel just at home :) breakfast was also delicious! Would recommend to stay here if you're passing by (can store bicycles in the back too).

The owner ( Ruth ). really goes above & beyond to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. She knows pretty much everyone in Moffat, which made my stay even more pleasurable. I will definitely be staying again if i am up that way.

We stayed here 4 days. It was absolutely wonderful in every respect. The owners keep a discreet distance, but are happy to engage if you want. They cooked a phenomenal Scottish breakfast, some of the best eggs I've ever tasted (and fresh from their own chickens - a must-have experience). Nearby, the views are stunning. There is also a Michelin starred resto very nearby, which I would recommend with the greatest enthusiasm.

I stayed here a couple of weeks ago for one night.When I arrived the host was very helpful and made me feel very welcome.It’s a great B&B, comfortable, clean and their breakfast was particularly good.Highly recommended and would stay here again. Thank you.
