I have visited several times for family meals. However, this was my first visit for Sunday lunch. It was fantastic. A warm welcome from the staff & we were shown into a private lounge for drinks. We had a circular table in the dining room for Sunday lunch. There is a buffet available for starter, desert & cheese. It was very impressive with a wide choice available, something to suit everyone's tastes. You could have as much or as little as you wanted & it was great to be able to try a bit of several different delicious deserts than be limited to just one! The main course is from a set menu but there are several options including different roasts, vegetarian, fish etc. Most of my party had the beef which was delicious & cooked to our choosing. My daughter had the mushroom tagliatelle, which she thoroughly enjoyed. Tea & coffee are also included in the price, making it exceptional value. The staff were all friendly & efficient & the food was excellent. We all thoroughly enjoyed our celebratory meal.

I WILL NOT COME BACK NOR RECOMMEND ANYONE UNLESS CHANGED OWNERSHIP OR THEY SORT THERE STAFF OUT.(CONS) Stayed here for a family wedding had a dog for ring bearer. The hotel is not dog friendly was told by the manager to take dog outside when it was 5 degrees outside because they dont allow dogs . But says dog friendly on website. They are very rude when they said it. Had breakfast in the morning was nice but sausage was not cooked pink in the middle. Sister in law her egg wasn't cooked properly. The manger for the hotel shouldn't be a manger as he complicated the wedding, when he agreed the plans to begin with he is very rude man.(PROS) location is lovely and stunning if you like nature.Room was lovely.

Lovely old Manor House. A bit run down now but quite charming with lovely grounds. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed two nights - room was comfortable and spacious... large bed with a mattress on the firm side. Bathroom/shower badly in need of an update but clean and served its purpose. Competent restaurant (great poached eggs at beakfast) but their kitchen is closing 6.8.23 for guests. I think they'll still cater for functions. See their website for details.

Lovely stay at Essborne Manor, rooms were lovely and spacious, with some nice original features. Everyone very friendly and helpful. But the highlight of our stay was the food....wow !! Tasted as wonderful as it looked. The hotel is out in the sticks, so no pubs or shops within walking distance, but no problem for us as only there one night.

Everything is wonderful about Esseborne Manor. A favourite of our family's places to stay at, or to visit. The food is delicious. Staff are attentive and very pleasant. Also great for business events and parties.

This is a nice hotel. Not a great one, but nice is all I want. Quiet, good surroundings, helpful staff, excellent food and a real old world charm. As a note, it felt like a place for a more mature clientele.

I was a guest at a wedding last weekend. Beautiful grounds and lovely picturesque building. The bedrooms were nice and spacious, lovely firm mattress! The food for the wedding was brilliant and a good selection for breakfast. The staff were helpful and friendly for the whole visit, the gardens were beautiful and there was plenty of garden games for the kids too! The only downside was a small carpark but there was alot of guests. We were recommended the afternoon tea many times so we will be back to try that soon!
