Came here while staying at the hall for a night, Starter was Black Pudding Scotch Egg, absolutely delicious. My favourite of the evening. We also had the beef burger which was nice aswell as Lasagne. Wine was also good to accompany the meal. Thank you

Staying at the Linden Hall Hotel, & popped into the Linden tree pub for a drink , not even a 2 min walk from Hotel, service good, staff friendly would recommend.

Large Sauvignon Blanc and Pint of Aspall £15.90.Didn't take photo of sandwiches.Wasn't asked if brown or white bread (maybe I should have, but bar oerson didnt mention it. Wouldbt have said it was busy either), white was okay, although cheese and pickle was a bit bland, cheese had no flavour; we also had a chicken club sandwich ..... not toasted and not 3 layered, all in all a bit disappointing.

Good pub food and high end pricing, in my opinion over promising and under delivering, although nothing wrong with the food. The service was nothing to write home about nor was the atmosphere, however the location is excellent.

The staff were friendly and helpful hence two stars for that and my husbands meal over the one star o feel like posting! However our experience was dreadful. We booked for dinner were in and out within 40 minutes. I ordered wine which they’d run out of but then a lady came over and said “we will get you some from the hotel” I thought this was really good service but when the wine came the server said I’ve put an ice cube in it as it’s not cold! I was so speechless I couldn’t say anything. Ice cubes in wine! Who even does that! So I ended up with a glass of watered down wine I couldn’t drink. Then the meal came, I had a burger and it was the sloppiest burger I’ve ever had the misfortune to have been served. There was far too much sauce on it. My husband had fish and chips and his was quite nice. Anyway it’s our first visit, and I don’t normally post reviews but I’m gutted that the 40 minute night out was ruined. We are local and there’s no way I’d ever visit this pub again.

Service was very poor, I had to collect my meals myself from the kitchen as the chefs had rang the service bell 4 times. Staff did offer their own staff discount after offering excuses, main one being understaffed and the fact there is a wedding on. Neither of which is my concern and neither did I accept the offer.Food itself was very nice but portion size was not enough for me.The wife and I was hoping that the linden tree pub could of improved our already dreadful experience of Linden hall spa and hotel, however bad service and insulting good will gestures clearly go throughout.We certainly will not be coming back.

We ate here whilst staying at the Liden hotel. The Liden Tree Pub is a cozy way to spend the evening.I've eating here once before and enjoyed both of my visits.I find the food and drink menu limited but there's probably something there for everyone.I find the prices are fair and quality of the food very good. The service is equally as good as their food and prices.
