Came here for lunch on a Tuesday with my partner. We got the 14 pound lunch special.100% worth it. Comes with 1 choice of soup, 1 main, 1 drink.Soup: Got fish (big serving of tuna) and seafood soup (crabs, mussels, prawns) in a massiv bowlMain: rib wit rice salad and grillled pork wit rice and salad.Amazing Value and taste.Highly recommend. I will come back here for lunch another time.

Although this is no longer an Ecuadorian restaurant, this place has a really inviting environment. It's now run by a jovial group of Dominicans who truly seem proud of their business and they have amazing dishes to show for it. I would really recommend try the fish soup if you do come here. I have high hopes for this restaurant.

Es la segunda vez que vengo a este restaurante y sinceramente tanto el servicio como la comida son de 10!!!Totalmente recomendable si te apetece comer bien.

La comida deliciosa, casera y recién hecha. Muy amables y el lugar muy tranquilo y la atención muy cercana, como en casa. Muy recomendable. Si quieres comer bien y a precios muy ajustados, visítalo.

Food:Encebollado mixto was 10 out of 10.Price £18Really great taste and large bowl of soup. Overall excellent.Steak, Chips, rice and fried egg 7 out of 10Price £22.Was good.Pico pollo is basically chicken and chips 1 out of 10.Price £15.This is the biggest thing that ruined the experience, and I'm kicking myself that I did not take a picture of the dish. In fact, the whole table I was with jaw hit the floor as did mine when we saw what was brought out to me. It was literally a 3 piece Kfc meal put on a plate but minus the taste. The smallest pieces of chicken you could imagine all for £15. I honestly felt robbed, and others on my table felt so sorry for me they offered me some of their food as they knew the chicken serving was pitiful for what I was paying.Also got Maduro con queso for £5, which was OK. Also got calamares a la Romana but felt it was not worth the price considering lack of taste.Service:Ate here on a Sunday at lunchtime. We were greeted by a really nice girl from the Dominican Republic. We felt so bad for her that we had to leave her an extra big tip as a thank you. She really tried her best to accommodate and please all the customers, but we all knew she had a nightmare on her hands as she had to look after a full restaurant by herself. She was taking orders, bringing out the dishes, seating people, writing out peoples bills, charging customers, checking everyone was OK with their meal, and preparing drinks for the whole restaurant. There was no one else to help her. She was literally left all by herself to manage. I hope that was a one-off as no one deserves to be put in that situation. Overall, she deservesa pay rise or at least some recognition as she gives her job her all even when the odds are against her.

Great value menu del dia (enormous soup and main course) and fruit juice for £12, cooked by aunties at the back of the store. Nice homemade aji served with it. Soup was especially delicious and filling. Will come back and try their evening menu some time.Only criticism: all the menu items have meat or fish, no choice for vegetarian.
