Sam's Van Hire

Terrible! They have no idea who's booked their vans so upon arriving I had to wait 45 minutes for them to deal with other people collecting and dropping off vans.The first van they tried to give me had 2 bald tyres, every panel was dented and the back doors didn't close properly.Second van was filthy, stank of cannabis (which was all over the seat, they dont clean them every week, let alone between each rental), didn't have working windscreen washers, chocolate all over all 3 seats and stank. Refused to take that so ended up with a much newer Irish registered Peugeot with a broken screen, non working climate control (really annoying on a hot day), oil change warning that made an ear-splitting noise for minutes every time you drove away from a stop, and a broken radio. This one also stank.I wouldn't return and would only reccomended to people who I have a deep dislike of.

Seriously dangerous, non roadworthy vehicles. Handbrake and horn did not work on a 3.5t luton box van, hole in the floor of the driver's side. Was told not to pull the shutter down as it's broken. Bearing in mind we were hiring the vehicle to do a flat move to Wales! Hole in the roof of of cargo bay, so as it was raining, everything got wet until I taped up the hole. MOT for this vehicle due within 30 days. It will NOT pass.

DO NOT HIRE ANYTHING FROM HERE. They are absolute cowboys, you will be lucky if a van is available and if it is, it will be a complete wreck. The service is shocking as well with a mythical" manager on the end of a phone who makes the decisions. I turned up and they were fixing a van

I’ve rented a luton van from deep. The ser yes Is excellent and the van was also excellent. Di definitely recommend this company. 5*

Terrible odour inside the cabin and many dents almost every side of the van. It’s not a good service. They also charge extra mileage even if they say not to. Not recommended and It’s better to look other alternatives.

Use Sams vans all the time. open 7 days a week very good service brilliant staff excellent vans always happy to come back. a reliable service

The van wasn't in the best condition. It did the job however and I was able to use it for the full day without any issues. Very nice and friendly customer service.

BEWARE. Costs appear competitive but with all the hidden extras turns out to be VERY EXPENSIVE! Go ZipVan, half the price. Insurance cover has £1000 excess and if points on license pay £15/day. I was involved in an accident, lost £1000 THEN I had third party insurer asking me for the balance as Sam’s Van said there was no cover!! Cheaper to buy your own van than hire from here.

AVOID AVOID AVOID THESE SCAM BAGS,!!! Very dangerous and non worthy vehicles and no fuel in the van the mirrors are half hanging, the boss is a dodge money maker.Be careful and Don't put ur life in danger with this company and they take deposit and don't give it back. Stay away from THIS kind of horrible and uneducated and horrible people.They think they r still back home and I AM SHOCKED THAT THEY ARE ALLOWED TO BE WORKING DANGEROUSLY LIKE THIS!!!!

This place is run by scam bags dont use. van was in bad condition and was in limp mode, no fuel and very dirty... they also tried to say i damaged the van but as soon as i said i have video they dismissed it they also didnt send my deposit back
