Leadout Cycles

As requested leadout cycles built my carbon wheels and fitted flat pro handlebars with concealed cabling and fancy blue tape. Now the gears and brakes are also adjusted properly it’s a joy to ride. Whether it’s Campagnolo in my case or shimano - he’s got you covered and the service is really tailored to the rider.

Dave gave my bike a thorough tune up before a big race earlier in the year, including new bearings, cables, tape, the works. As well as being one of the few mechanics about who'll glue on tubular tyres. I'll be back with him for future service needs

Spotted an advert for Leadout cycles at a cafe whilst out on my usual Sunday spin.Made an enquiry that day and was booked in for basic services on the Monday - my main bike and my older one…Dave was really responsive to emails and txts and gave me some really good advice on my current set-up, handlebars, seat and how to look after my chain properly.He clearly knows his stuff and has great attention to detail and did a great job on the two services - I was back home on the Wednesday afternoon with two newly serviced bikes. I even managed to get some new bars delivered to his workshop that he fitted for me.Would strongly recommend Dave on the back of my experience this week. Prices are very reasonable. And I will go back for other work and services in future.*I’ve tried quite a few bike shops in the area and been made to feel like I’m getting in their way by taking my bike to them and then they take weeks to do the work !Wishing Dave every success.

Dave delivered my e-bike back to me late afternoon yesterday after having it in for repair and service. Having it out this morning it rides like an absolutely new bike , what a great job , thanks Dave, can happily recommend your work and attention to detail.

Bought a set of gravel wheels from Leadout Cycles. Was looking at stock set from a branded company but was recommended Leadout by a friend. Great service, built to cost, spec and quality that I asked for.These are actually lighter than the set I was going to buy online and they we're delivered quicker. They are very well made and got some really useful advice on options for tyres to use and pressures to run. An excellent experience from multiple perspectives: Quick response to an initial enquiry, efficient quoting and invoicing system, with easy payment and all work completed to a high standard. Dave is also willing to spend a bit of extra time explaining how problems arise and ways to mitigate them in the future.

Just been out on my Giant TCR road bike after a service by Dave at Leadout Cycles. She felt as tight and fast as when she was brand new, and I was grinning from ear to ear. Cracking job, Dave, you certainly know your stuff. I'll be bringing my gravel bike to you as well.
