Amazing food. Best roast I have had in a long time. A large portion and beautifully presented. The sirloin looked more like a steak than a slice of roast but it was cooked amazingly.Service was excellent. It wasn’t busy at all but there was relaxing music and enough chatter from other tables for it not to feel empty. My sister had a vegan curry which looked horrible but tasted amazing.Would definitely come back!

Olga made all 7 of us feel like we were one in a million! And the Sunday roast was absolutely delicious. Salmon roast isn't something you see much these days, and I think that's a crying shame. Greatful for this wonderful afternoon spent at the Palmerston. Will be back in droves.

I tried the Sunday Roast today, and found it forgettable. While the price is not too bad (about 22£ for the lamb leg or the roast beef IIRC), the quality of the meat is really not great (the beef in particular was incredibly sinewy, and really hard to chew). Beer at almost 7£ a pint. Decent service.

Not happy with my visit today, overpriced and mediocre! I visited with my aunt for a sunday lunch. It was not the best we have had at £22 a meal. Was also charged incorrectly on the bill. I don't normally check my receipts but it seemed far too expensive for what we had. Once we had paid and left we checked the receipt and noticed we were charged for drinks we never had. We returned and this was rectified, but we were still not satisfied with the overall cost. £13 for a double gin and tonic, £11 for a large glass of wine. £13 service charge. Over priced and will not return! A bit of advise - check your receipt!

It’s ok. Have had quite a few roasts here. It’s definitely overpriced and inconsistent in quality. Some days it’s truly awful and others it can be ok or better. The service is quite poor but they always look understaffed. Drink selection not great. A very mid pub.

Great Sunday Lunch with family in this lively and popular local pub. Service was fun, relaxed and friendly, Henry, our server gave his recommendations and they were spot on, loved the croquettes for a starter. The main roasts were excellent, portions were generous and the meat was succulent and tasty. Good value for money, worth booking to guarantee a table.

Came here today for a Sunday roast and was unfortunately disappointed with the service & quality of food. The vegetarian roast was £20 and completely lacking in any flavour, with food arriving lukewarm. I don't like to leave a bad review and the staff were apologetic and polite, but it was disappointing given the price. Can't vouch for the rest of the menu, but wouldn't recommend if you're looking for a Sunday roast.

First time visiting since it was taken over by new management. Pleased to report it still has the best Sunday roast in East Dulwich. We were sat in the the private dining room upstairs which was quieter than the bar.Service was great; our waitress was really attentive and regularly came upstairs to see if we needed anything.

Service is always excellent! The food is served promptly and overall good. Today we had the bangers and mash which was enjoyed. The salmon and haddock fishcake was a bit disappointing as it was pretty much potato with some salmon/haddock flakes. Not necessarily bad, just not what was offered. Truffle and parmesan fries were ok too.Loved seeing the fire lit on a cold and rainy day, it was a highlight of the visit.

Popped in for lunch after a walk in Dulwich Park and was delighted. Their sunday roast is a really generous portion and delicious, they have a good selection of beers, friendly staff, and a really warm atmosphere. Will definitely come again when in Dulwich!
