I have found Booker to be a great place to train. The instructors are professional and very experienced and the standard of teaching is high. I highly recommend Booker for modular training.

An Excellent place to train. Although only a small airfield, Booker is friendly and well equipped and provides cost effective, high quality flying training at a convenient location.

Booker Aviation and all the staff are the most helpful and professional you could ask for. Having visited many other schools over the years the staff at Booker always make you welcome back again. If you need flying training they are without doubt the best. Also the duty crew are the most helpful and friendly! 10/10

I had pre booked with this flight school to do a flight. I pre booked this and a few other flights a few months in advance giving them enough notice - they have messed me about by cancelling all of them. They keep cancelling my exams when the weather is good. My dad is a captain in an airline, they keep telling me the weather is not permitting to fly, but after assessing it was completely fine. The receptionist lies for them. Carol, when I speak to her she admitted to me that she has other things she needs to do rather than commit to my flight exam that was pre booked months in advance. They have a high influx of students coming in so they don’t really take care of their students, they make them come on days where the weather is bad. I just want to say this place is really unprofessional for the money you pay to be a client with them. There are much better places that you can go with a better quality of professional service and getting your money’s worth.

This school is a joke. If you don't want to become a pilot in your life, want PTSD, or you just need to lose motivation to become one, this is the school for you. If you also enjoy people looking down on you, talking badly behind your back, love overpaying for normal food, enjoy a boring school that teaches you the bare minimum (nothing), like wearing a stupidly overpriced uniform, like overpaying for lessons and instructor's, love flying really old and out of date planes from the 50's, enjoy being forced to go in and stay from the starting time of around 8am, finish around 5pm, don't mind socially awkward instructors, want your instructor to tell you that you will never become a pilot, and you want to be locked into contracts with them, this school is perfect for you.Seriously, AVOID this place at all costs. There are plenty of better schools around the area (certainly way cheaper and more flexible with better instructors).I wasted a lot of money going to this school.

Booker has good potential, especially for CPL/IR students with two DA42's, a great simulator and located in some fun airspace. However there are quite a few issues that need ironing out before they can be truly recommended for professional training. From operations staff being incompetent, disorganised and rude at times to some not so friendly instructors with egos that do not belong in the skies. Having been to quite a few schools around the world, it wasn't the most friendly environment I've experienced. I just think when you're committing to CPL/IR training you need a solid school that knows what they're doing with everything. Also note there's only one instructor available to do CPL-ME training and you will most likely be pushed into doing a SE course, which is not ideal for those hoping to apply to airlines!

This has to be the worse place to go to, if I could give it no stars, I would. I paid them using a cheque so the first two days I went, they made up weather excuses because really the cheque won't cleared. After it was, I began my training but unfortunately the trainer was a rookie so he never did the plane checks during a lesson because someone before him went up so he assumed it was fine which IT WASN'T!. As we were going up, he had to do an emergency landing because he realized some instruments won't working. I transferred after 5 terrible lessons to another place because they supplied terrible instructors. I also blame H/W university for sending us to this place.

Do not train here unless you are a bucks new uni student! Instructors have very little time for private students and Bucks students seem to get preferential treatment. I had 5+ instructors during only 25hrs of training!Once I left Booker Aviation to train somewhere where I'd get more focused and quality instruction, it became apparent that I had quite severe gaps in my training to the point where another instructor said it was dangerous to let me solo (which I had already been doing at Booker).Wycombe Air Park is a great little airfield and the aircraft that Booker Aviation own are well maintained and looked after and some of the instructors are good (there are some BIG egos coming from the rest, I'm surprised they can fit into a PA28 let alone a 152). Booker's focus on Uni money leaves private students training neglected.Denham, White Waltham and Elstree are great airfields close by with much better training organisations. Oh, not to mention they're allcheaper...

I had a great trial lesson here. My instructor Swinhoe-standen was very friendly me maximised the time to teach me as much flying skills as possible. Great teacher. planes were surprisingly clean and modern feeling for their age (such as the Cessna 152)
