A popular family run business in the heart of Heaton that's been established since 1999. It has earned a reputation for quality and excellence while maintaining value for money. It's everyones favourite local restaurant.
We have recently extended the restaurant and almost doubled its capacity. We are undergoing further works to make a large waiting area. We have subtly introduced a new street food menu alongside our traditional menu with favourites the likes of Lamb Railway or The Chana Paneer Biryani are going down a storm!! We do traditional indian, street, grill foods and cater for parties.

Food is fine and staff are nice however believe health and safety regulations aren’t carried out correctly so much so a personal injury claim is having to be made due to dangerous work place and I cleaned greasy floors like an ice rink as described by drivers, with no signage in place shame as overall restaurant is nice

I don’t indeed the reviews. I thought this place was terrible. We tried take away twice. First time they got the order wrong. The naan was also dry.Gave it another try. Order was correct. Chicken was super dry and chewy, naan was dry and over cooked. I had a stomach ache all night. It was just terrible. We won’t be trying it again.

Good range of tasty Indian food, including vegi options and a real bargain on banquet nights. Perfect pint of lager too, and opposite Chillingham Rd metro station.

Ordered on Uber eats 1 hour late I rang them for them to say driver won’t be far away from you, 1 hour half later ring again, sorry we don’t deliver to where you are 2.5miles away from the restaurant, yet to receive a refund, terrible company, he should have rang immediately and told me he doesn’t deliver to this area (lie)

Super modern Bangladeshi/Indian restaurant, delicious well - priced food and wine, tastefully furnished, excellent low key Indian background music, attentive service. Raff is a very friendly owner..very highly recommended.

Do NOT Order from this place! My delivery was ordered for 7.30 prompt didn't arrive until 7.50, the grease had seeped into the food so whent in the bin, the so called manager I spoke to was very patronising & argumentative with a stinking attitude, this place once had a good reputation but now unfortunately its gone & should be forgotten, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

Ordered a Korma and Malaysian mains and onion bhaji and chana sag side dish. The mild curries had no spice depth at all and were so over sweetened as to be uneatable for me. Maybe this is how they like it here, but to me both dishes tasted akin to chicken and custard. These are usually wonderful delicately spiced dishes when handled properly. The bhaji coating and dipping sauce was also heavily over sweetened. Very disappointed but I know this place is popular so I think they must be just catering to local tastes.

We have had delivery from here a lot of times it has been our weekly go to Indian restaurant for at least two years. However tonight was disappointing. Chicken tikka starter was pink not red, chicken rubbery and cold. Bhuna prawn on puri nice big prawns good flavours but hardly any sauce, and cold.Chicken curry sauce watery and cold.
