I just read the reviews and am surprised that they talk about bad service. You will see why I did not give five stars later. I have only ordered twice so far. Both times the order arrived on time or even earlier than I expected. The second order had a problem with the supplied saw chains as I relied on the website selector to select the saw chain and did not check the dimensions. I contacted the company and they accepted the return and resupplied two new chains very quickly. I have not tried the chains yet but they look ok. The other equipment is perfectly satisfactory, well made and packaged. It is not the best branded equipment (helmet and boots) but it is very good value and suits my needs. I will be ordering more from this company. Not their biggest customer but quite a happy one.

Poor service , ordered stump grinding teeth for a large job , company promised Next day delivery which took a week to deliver,They charged for postage and website clearly states free postage . Poor company , no customer service and clearly do not look after there customers.Taking legal action.Thanks for the response to the review 7 months later , you say you have made changes but , considering we were dealing with your selfI can’t see a lot changing poor service and not willing to admit you got it wrong ! We will not buy from you again and looking at the reviewsI’m not the only one .poor company poor service!

Absolutely shocking service!Wish I had read these reviews before ordering.Had to wait for 3 weeks before getting my saw. When it finally arrived it was completely the wrong one. Each email I sent I had to wait at least 3 days to get a response. Did get an apology but they blamed it on somebody else. Didn't even get a response to my last email.Don't order from these guys as they don't have the stock to sell, they get in when you order.Have noticed a theme on these reviews as ever time they get a bad one they just post... We sincerely apologise for the bad experience you have had. Since then, we have taken the necessary action to avoid such issues. Well this goes back years so come on guys sort it out!

I’ve bought a few things now from this company and find them top notch. The way that they continue to keep you updated about your order all the way through the process is superb. (Email) Prices and postage are very reasonable. My last order was damaged in the post but I never approached Northern Arb as I know it would have not been sent out damaged by them. (Royal Mail at its best) I shall reorder the item at a later date. I’m not going to be put off by one bad postman, I’m sure he’ll get bitten by a dog for his sins.

Fab service and stock. Use them for my arb requirements. I negative is that I am unable to get a replacement 330mm Silky gomtaro blade. I had to purchase the item from The Netherlands.

Ordered a bar and chain for my echo 2511, ran up fine did a mornings work then the nose bearing failed in the bar. Emailed customer services to be told I’d ordered the wrong pitch, which I double checked and all was correct and told the sales rep this to not get a response and obviously doesn’t know his stuff!
