One of the best care homes I have had the pleasure of working in!Everyday is filled with laughter, singing and joy, activities each day, great food and staff!I can’t wait to see this home progress further!!

Where do I begin. Over the past week you have given me the privilege of being with mum during her final hours and I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for the lovey, care & comfort given to not only mum, but to my family and I. Thank you for everything.

As a Massive Thank You to our emergency services Lower Meadow set up a coffee stop for these very busy professionals to grab a hot drink.

As this sad time of my dads passing, I must take this opportunity to thank Runwood and more importantly, the staff at Lower Meadow care home. The level of care my father received, the attention to his needs & the time spent by staff was above what anyone could expect.It is a testament to these high standards that my father, who was adamant he would not go into a care home, said and I quote 'I could not imagine getting better care anywhere else'.

Worse place ever for someone who wants to spend their lives there. I a meeting I was told that cont the numbers not the problems of the individual or carers.

Mum trusted you and we felt very safe with her in your care. You lead your team in such a relaxed and positive way which can be felt the second you walk into lower meadow.Your team are a credit to the leadership. Mums family will always remember Lower Meadow with great affection. All Our Love

Fantastic staff beautiful new building, my nan absolutely loves it here she's incredibly happy. The staff are wonderful and there are always events for the residents.

Dad was there for about six weeks.Admitted with vascular dementia.Although the home takes residents with dementia it was quickly clear that the staff were unable to cope.The duty of care was totally terrible he fell and broke wrist and was then unaided to eat his food. He was ridiculed by other residents for the mess he got into .We were told that he was having upto three helpings little wonder when most was on the floor . He was left to sit in the lounge and when agitated no one reassured him that all was OK. One carer sat and watched while he banged his head and asked someone to help him.His clothes were always stained and his socks cut into his swollen ankles. We were told that the staff were unable to meet dad's needs but where is the compassion here? It was so distressing to see our dad deteriorate so rapidly.No one had the time or inclination to bother.
