ASDA Pharmacy

Absolutely sick and tired of this pharmacy. For the third time in a year my other half has come back without half my meds. They just simply cannot cope where the surgery issue tablets and injections on different prescriptions (although on same day) Then mostly you can’t get them to pick up the phone to check. GP has confirmed AGAIN the missing items are there (and given me the relevant transfer barcode) so it’s going to mean another separate trip up there!

Unreliable. Open 9am to 9pm but prone to periodic closures when you most need them and then told they will be back in 30/60 minutes. No closed signs just staff working in the back not serving customers

Incredibly helpful staff when they were coping with a huge demand as there were no other pharmacies open in north Norfolk! (Bank holiday)

Got told UPTO 1/2hr to wait for the prescription. saw one pharmacist and four other staff behind the counter while I waited and the four normal staff seem to be doing not much too help.ither than chat amongst themselves and moan about the volume of prescriptions. Took exactly 1/2hr but people who arrived after me were getting there stuff prepared from the pharmacist before.All most the same thing everytime. Unorganised Kaos. Come on Asda sort it out!!!!

Always polite and helpful staff. It's a pleasure to collect my prescriptions from ASDA pharmacy.Edit: I'm sorry to have to downgrade my review to four stars as the opening times are unreliable. This is because on several occasions I've visited only to find that the pharmacy has not opened because the pharmacist has not turned up. Some prescriptions are urgent and some ill customers will have struggled to the pharmacy only to be turned away. No doubt the lovely staff have to bear the brunt of the complaints of angry customers because of this when it's not their fault.There should be a reliable back-up strategy for when this situation occurs.

Waiting 45 mins to be told two items not on the shelf. Rather than give me the options to take the script to another pharmacy, they issued 3 of the items. Told me to phone today to check if the items are in. Tried to phone at various times during today, they just don't pick up the phone! So do I venture back to Asda, or not. I just feel too annoyed to go, but my dad needs that medication.

Slow service for medication including antibiotics. Often a long queue of customers who have also been waiting a while. On multiple occasions items have not been in stock including items behind the pharmacy counter. Compared to other pharmacies Asda appears to be falling short. Responsible pharmacist often not displayed & pharmacist not publicly visible to assist. Even more disappointing as a pharmacy that is open later & recommended by 111 for prescriptions

Online said pharmacy was open until 11pm. At 8pm I went in agony to get some strong painkillers for it to be SHUT.AVOID at all costs

If the staff get any slower they'll only have expired medication... Worst I've ever used. Never again.

Needed to collect antibiotics and a throat spray for my 1 year old as she had an infection and a very high temperature.They didn’t have the throat spray so I asked for just the antibiotics as it was already late at night and wasn’t many pharmacies left open. Was given and excuse of she can’t only give me one item she has to give me both (I’ve been given 1 item from a prescription before) , I tried to explain I needed it for my 1 year and she refused and said I’d have to wait for it to be ordered in.Then went to a different pharmacy which were a major help, to find out when she accepted the prescription script she didn’t decline it meaning it was a even bigger problem as they needed her to Decline it for them to Accept it. When me and this other pharmacy tired to call them after the extremely long intro they hung up . Very frustrating and disappointing!
