I usually shop at Marks and Spencer's when I'm in the UK, but after visiting a local museum, I happened to be nearby, so decided to pop in!There's no cost of living crisis here as the shop was packed!I was slightly nervous with higher costs, but it wasn't too bad. In fact, since it was a Saturday afternoon, some of the prices were reduced and my shopping ended up being quite the bargain!Waitrose in Bath was very nice, and the staff were super nice and friendly.Highly recommended!

So sad to see many more self-service tills and far fewer manned tills. Human contact is so important now, especially as there are so many people who are elderly, lonely, or have mental health issues. Think again Waitrose and copy Booth’s.

Good quality produce and groceries. Reasonable prices. Online ordering and delivering is a huge plus. Would like to see more items in home goods made in Britain though.

Again, empty chiller cabinets and no notices until you have a half full trolley of other goods! The notices claim it’s as a result of the extreme weather (other shops chillers are all working)! The permanently open doors putting strain on the air con and chillers won’t help although the reality I am told is that the chillers etc. are empty as they cannot get hold of engineers! Seems a long time since Waitrose was worthy of its premium prices, especially as stock at other times is frequently missing and queues at checkouts excessive whilst partners appear to stand around chatting.

If I could give this supermarket zero stars I would. It’s regularly out of stock of the most basic items, its checkouts rarely all work and it’s hugely expensive. It was 27 degrees today and there was no fresh fish or chicken - typical!

It was a beautiful evening in bath the sun was about to set on the horizon and my stomach was rumbling. Whilst waiting for my bus (got to stay humble) i spotted waitrose and thought it could cure for my intense hunger. I stepped into the shop and physically jumped when i saw the price of a meal deal, £5!!! But my tummy was rumbling. I grabbed the components to the most expensive meal deal i will ever purchase chicken, bacon ceaser salad wrap, innocent strawberry and banana smoothie and mccoy’s salt and vinegar crisps. It was all going well, UNTILL i cracked into the wrap. The lettuce was crispy the chicken moist it almost seemed to good to be true… then i saw it. A P U B E . Pube. PUBIC HAIR. Genital fuzz probably from carols bush when she made my wrap. Immediately i threw it to the ground, OUTRAGED, i felt steam coming out of my ears as i stamped my foot. The old lady next to me asked if i was okay and i screamed in her face OF BLOODY COURSE NOT. Waitrose i am outraged, not angry just disappointed, i expect this from lidl or aldi, not you. I thought we had a connection. Thanks a lot for the trauma this has caused. SEE PICCYS BELLOW.

Disappointing offering from the bakery of late. Have tried going into store different times on multiple days and cannot seem to get the product. Staff either don't seem to know what's happening with the bakery, why their is such a small quantity of this item made, or where the bakers are at the busiest time of year apparently.

Can’t enjoy going shopping without being followed constantly by a security guard which put me off. It was 08:30am on Wednesday 30th of August. I was in business attire yet for some reason he followed me whilst I browsed and picked things up until I got to the self serve. As a woman this was so uncomfortable please have a word. I enjoy shopping here but now I might go elsewhere, couldn’t shop comfortably!

Clean and well stocked.Self scan checkouts work well and is highly recommended to avoid the queues at busy times.Prices were always higher than other supermarkets, but now getting to the eye watering stage.Still, the perception is that quality of food is high.

Personally it's about the location wich puts me off if it was on the outside of the centre it would be easier to get to by car if I was doing a proper shop there but I just use it if feeling hungry or thirsty and passing by it is good and well stocked shop with a good range of products so you will likely get what your after but for me I'm hardly ever at that end of bath so very rare for me to go in there
