The Old Croft House, Vegetarian B&B

The most incredible home cooked breakfasts, we are still thinking about it now! Super healthy and light, perfect before going on a big hike. Great location as you are close to portree (10min by car) and other must see places are not far. The owners have the cutest pet hens, geese and ducks which are incredibly cute and live in the garden. It was so lovely to see.

A very pleasant stay in The Sun room, in a great location for local facilities and attractions. Sam and Mark were lovely hosts who gave us our space and provided a very tasty breakfast each morning. The views from the room were lovely and the ducks and chickens wandering around was very wholesome. Some slight criticisms was that the Sun Room felt a little small, some would see it as nice and cosy, for us it felt too small. Also, the early morning sun during the summer really does shine in and wake you up a little earlier than you'd want. We would have also liked some outside seating in the area just outside the room. However, all in all, we really did have a lovely stay here.

Absolutely wonderful breakfasts and we had a mix of vegetarian and gluten-free/vegan! Mark and Sam were very helpful in planning outings to maximize our limited time and avoid crowds, and feeding the hens and snuggling the kitty were definite needs. Thank you for an amazing two days!

It was such a joy to stay at this bed and breakfast. The accommodations were so wonderful, and the hosts were incredibly warm and friendly. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and they really made sure to accommodate any allergies or special requests. The location is pretty amazing as well. You're about a 10 minute drive to Portree, and you are still pretty central to all of the wonderful activities on Skye. Bonus: they have the most friendly pets that live with them. Even the chickens like a few quick pats on the head when they see you! Overall, we had such a wonderful stay, and we would have loved to stay there longer!

This is a great and wonderful place. We had an awesome 3 night stay. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Tasty breakfast options for veggies and vegans. Bike hiring is available too. All skye highlights are very close to that accomodation. Highly to recommend.
