Above and beyond. I burnt my veil 3 days before my wedding and Angel Star were the only company that were willing to help me. I was given an appointment for the next day and Gittan fixed it to the highest standard, you would never have known I’d burnt it. I got talking to her about being unhappy with the dress I’d chosen from another store and she graciously let me look at her dresses at short notice. She was patient as I tried on dresses and was very accommodating. I ended up finding a dress that was perfect and made me feel more like a bride. She unbelievably gave me a generous discount and even hand altered the dress so it was perfect for me, all the day before my wedding. I honestly can’t praise this lady enough, a true hero, excelled beyond the best customer service, she saved my wedding day and helped me in every way she could, I can’t begin to thank her for all she done for me. Any woman is lucky to have their bridal experience in Angel Star. It’s worth 100 stars! Thanks again Gittan, you are fabulous x

Getting married and was the first wedding dress shop I came to. Lady was so rude and seemed to stand with the door slightly open, very unwelcoming. When we said we wanted to try on wedding dresses she said “it’s only for those getting married” which she automatically assumed I wasn’t. When I reassured her that I was actually getting married she proceeded to question the date, it was like she didn’t believe me. Then said I could make an appointment and come back an out her time. Overall very very rude and definitely won’t be coming back!

Loved using Angel Star as my bridal shop! I went there through a recommendation and they did not disappoint! Ive since recommended them to friends and work colleagues who all have used them as their bridal shop and all had a similar positive experience with them! I visited other bridal shops but didnt recieve the same service, support or patience as I did with Angel Star!

Absolutely amazing shop. I found my dream dress elsewhere for extortionate cost. Gittan explained that the shop shouldn't have it priced that way as the designer set prices so there would be no under cutting between shops. She then ordered in the dress for me at the correct price. I returned for fittings many times and she was just so amazing everytime. The alterations to my dress were done flawlessly. Can't recommend this shop and it's beautiful owner enough. Thank you Gittan for making my wedding dress shopping a wonderful experience!

Dropped in today with no appointment and Gittan could not have been more helpful! Very honest in terms of style and did not rush us at all. Extremely pleased with my formal dress- thank you.

One of the most unhelpful, abrupt and rude shop owners I have ever come across. Wouldn’t even let us into the shop because we didn’t have an appointment, and spoke to us as we stood outside. Had driven over an hour to get there and didn’t realise an appointment was needed to even get inside, but it was the rude approach which was the most disappointing. Went elsewhere and was treated so helpfully and respectfully, where we spent &400 - also without an appointment. Would never return here

Left a review on Facebook which was removed to up the ratings. Found out I was pregnant a couple of months after leaving a £600 deposit on a sample dress that fitted in-store. Was refused any help after having to cancel my wedding, after my Mum and no husband rang on numerous occasions the owner finally offered a credit note which I had to use within the year and was not allowed to be off anything discounted or in sale. She knew I would be unable to use this. She had sold the dress for over double the deposit and kept the £600 for profit. I had such an emotional experience as I'd used money I'd kept from my deceased grandparents which she knew as I was upset in the store, I am just advising people to read the fine print so this doesn't happen to someone else.
