Tea On The Cobbles
Amazing spot in the heart of Newport. If i could give it 6 stars I would! Staff are all lovely and welcoming, the food was exceptional, all was clearly well sourced and good quality ingredients, will be coming back very soon!

Tea On The Cobbles
I visited Newport with my kids and found this café on Google, we drove to have breakfast as we had checked out and our accomodation does not do breakfast. The lady immediately said once we got in that the big tables were booked for 10 and we would only have half an hour. I then suggested that we could have our food to go. I asked for toast and jam for my kids as I assumed it would be quicker and I just wanted to feed them as they were hungry which i mentioned to the lady. The lady then said she is not making any toast at the minute and she is just serving hot drinks. It seemed like this lady was not willing to serve me and I could only wonder if it is because my kids and I are black and Newport is not particularly diverse. I was drawn by the good reviews but sadly I will never come by here anytime I am in Newport as clearly we are not welcome.

Tea On The Cobbles
Best place we have had a scone for years. The staff are lovely and friendly. The cakes on show looked amazing and all home made. My other half said the coffee was good, he is the connoisseur of coffee. We had scones which were out of this world. Someone in the cafe was having breakfast which if we hadn't had breakfast would have been a good choice it looked great and clean plates is a good sign. Can't recommend this enough

Beautiful cafe we had the full English breakfast with teas and coffees for our party of four. Wonderful food freshly cooked, lovely friendly staff. Great value as well good prices

Beautiful little team room with very friendly faces to greet and serve you!Cakes were amazing and the menu was very reasonably priced.I would definitely visit again

Best Full English I've had in a long, long time, great coffee - and the best brownies I've had, EVER! Not normally a fan of your typical English Tea Room, but glad I made the exception with this one - lovely freshly-cooked food, prompt and friendly service, and the most delicious cakes imaginable. I'll be back...well, actually, I have been, several times ;-)

We enjoyed our lunch here-quaint café with good quality items on the menu. Would recommend the club sandwiches . Brilliant customer service too.
