Lovely café. Staff are really hard working and helpful.It's a good, clean environment and has additional outdoor seating looking over the lake. Reasonably priced and a good selection.

Staff are very helpful, friendly too... great service. Small room cafe but with plenty seating outdoors on veranda looking on to lake watch the swans the ducks herons all swimming past. Lovely water feature.its full of wildlife around. A very lovely park. Children's areas flower garden. Bridges to cross. Park outside or use the small area car park. Food very good value very nice.

Had a marvellous lunch, sat at the veranda,in Locke Park Cafe....My wife and I took our dog and he enjoyed his treat there, while we had really tasty meal along with drinks....everything was so nice and fresh the cherry on the cake was that sun was out.....even like today its cold and damp, you'll still get a warm welcome.

Staff are friendly and cafe is wheelchair accessible inside and out the back. You might just have to ask someone to move a chair for you so you can get past. No big issue though. The food is great as is the coffee. Dogs are always welcome.

Often pop in here for a drink and sometimes something to eat. Great prices, excellent food, lovely cakes. Super staff always pleasant and willing to help. Well worth a visit.

I've frequented this cafe at Locke Park many times and have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Really friendly and helpful staff and great tasting food and drinks with plenty of choice for all preferences. All situated in a lovely park to walk around afterwards, you can also buy bird food from the cafe to help the make sure the local wildlife is well fed.

Horrific customer service and waiting times.Ordered a takeout portion of chips and was told there would be a 20 minute wait. I said I'd go for a walk and come back. Had to wait a further 35 minutes being ignored by the staff whilst trying to keep my young baby happy. I asked how long it would be and they went to check and never came back. I went in to check again and she said 'it's just getting put in the microwave'.No microwaved food is worth waiting an hour for so I asked for my money back. I received a refund but no apology and no effort to put things right.When I asked for a refund another older member of staff said 'oh great, can I have them then?'Such a shame as some of the people are lovely and it's a great place. Sadly some of them shouldn't be in the service industry.

Me, my partner and two children came in for lunch, we ordered 3 toasted, two portions of chips and a kids picnic box. We waited over an hour for this food. No one came to tell us we would have to wait this long. Once we had finished our food I went to the till to pay. I am a wheelchair user and there was no one else at the till. I was ignored completely by the staff, a man walked in and got served before me after I’d sat there waiting. After he was served I had to shout up to pay for our food. The food came to £32. The food was poor quality, and not worth the money charged and the service was absolutely terrible. It’s such a shame as it’s a gorgeous park and there were a lot of staff in the cafe so I’m not sure how they can get it so wrong. Atleast make customers aware of how long a wait it is so they can pop for a walk/boat trip instead of sitting and waiting.
