Eastgate Dental Practice

I changed my dentist to Eastgate Dental a few years ago now. I've used both dentists and the hygienist at the surgery and couldn't recommend them highly enough. They are friendly, informative and honest in their advice. The surgery is always spotless too.

Absolutely awful man! Rude and money grabbing. Walk in with an extraction needed. No infection. An extraction takes less than 30 mins and a basic NHS appointment fee covers the time needed.However, he will re-appoint for no apparent reason and claim he hasn't the time.As a carer, I have sat an witnessed him being rude to a patient on multiple occasions. So if you have someone you care for who is nervous.. this is not the place for them.

First appointment was amazing. Dentist took the time to explain everything to me. Would 100% recommend.

Really pleased with my first visit. All staff are wonderful but I particularly was delighted with how great the hygienist Laurie was. She was great at what she does and her natural charisma calmed me as I was quite anxious during my appointment. Thank you very much to all the team.

I would not recommend this dental practice. I've been to this practice a few times now but I'll make this my last visit. First off the reception staff are not so welcoming, they are the first point of contact with customers so a warm welcome goes along way. The Dentist there are friendly and make you feel welcome, but unfortunately my last visit was a check up that lasted literally 3mins. For the cost of £23.50 for a check up I would've expected at least a scale and polish, or even some fluoride to gargle. I was very shocked to be told after this very short visit that the check up was finished. This is the first dental clinic I've been to where the dentist just runs his tools and finger along your teeth and gums and that was basically it very little scrapping of plaque build up but still left some visible, I would have even appreciated to exportrate saliva down the sink but I wasn't given that choice so I had to swallow, how disgusting. Very poor service and for the amount of money paid. Do yourself a favour take your money elsewhere.

I was a little nervous of going to the Dentist but I need not worry. The staff put me at ease and the Dentist was extremely patient and kind as wll. Cannot fault them. Thank you all for a five star service.

I've been going to Eastgate for a couple of years and find them all helpful, knowledgeable and professional. They have treated me on NHS and Dr Karami is very caring. I've used the hygienist too and recently consulted Dr Nagy for a dental implant. Everyone is so kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend you visit.

Both me and Wifey have been using this surgery for 20+ years and have always received 1st class treatment and service , thank you all so much.

My wife has had a problem for the last few months and could not find out if it was a jaw infection or bad tooth. Miss Rahat could not have been more helpful, she soonfound problem and clearly explained my options. She offered to do an extraction there and then which she carried out with no pain and instant relief. Well done!

I first went to the Eastgate dental practice around 15 years ago when it was upstairs. I needed extensive dental work due partly to gum issues and partly to my fear of dentists meaning I hadn't been for many years. Dr Roberto explained the extent of the work needed and the length of time this would take, it was a lot, so much in fact that the NHS asked me to attend St Andrews in Billericay to make sure that all of the work had been completed. The dentist that examined me said that the work was excellent and that most NHS dentists would not have gone to so much trouble and effort to help a patient with teeth as bad as mine were. That outstanding care and professional approach has continued since and my entire family now attend the Eastgate dental practice, none of us would wish to go anywhere else. The staff are all friendly and helpful, the care we have received has been consistently excellent and most importantly from my point of view, I have complete trust in them, highly recommended.
