The Five Star Hockett HIFI Experience:I had several items of redundant hi-fi to sell. I searched the web for traders and contacted some of them. Hockett HiFi was the only outfit that I considered had a website and reviews that ticked all the confidence-inspiring boxes and so it proved when I sent him a list of items. There was a quick and logical reply, then negotiations started during which he made a good offer ‘subject to testing and inspection’. His establishment is far too far from my home for him to visit to inspect the gear, so we eventually met on the outskirts of Bristol when I returned home (on a Sunday morning!) from visiting my daughter. As a result of all the email discussions I was by then confident enough to leave the gear with him and he took it away for testing. A couple of days later he emailed with what I knew from my own researches to be very fair price and payment by bank transfer soon followed.All in all it was a thoroughly professional, but also enjoyable, experience and I can’t recommend his outfit too highly.Dr Charles Harvey
