Rubbish. My son took a new pair of leather soled boots for rubber soles to be fitted. Came back with gouges in the sides of the sole and side of the boot. Must have put them on with an axe. Won't be going there again. Would not recommend this place at all.

Incredibly rude member of staff. Asked about a watch repair and the guy literally called me a liar as to how the back of my watch fell off. Like why? Why would anybody lie about that? Very rude and i will definitely not look here for any kind of service again. Took a lot of tongue biting on my side!!

Astonishingly bad for a watch service considering he had it a whole week. Took it to the jewellers up the road who did it in 5 minutes for half the price instead.

Rubbish shop. Bought a tin of Brasso wadding type recently, quite dry, looked at the top and it was past its use by date. Took it back and was told they do not refund the money, even for faulty goods. Did buy a plastic battery operated switch in the past only to find wrote on the back in felt pen for display only" it didn't last. Should have learnt my lesson then."

If you like your shoes, dont take them any where near Poddys. Ruined a brand new pair of leather boots, think they decided the leather needed sanding down, then a stabbing with a podger.

Had 25 pounds worth of keys cut,2 different ones wouldn't go into the lock which 6 other houses use for a locked compound so I took them back,not happy changing them he filed them down when I got them home I looked at them and they were that thin you could bend them over so using them in the look they would of snapped and so other people have got 2 keys would of been expensive to buy a new lock and keys for 12 people if it had snapped off in the lock,I took them back and he said you ain't supposed to bend them yet other keys dont bend it's because he filed them down to much,He said that's the best he can do and wouldn't give a refund,I took the original else where and had 2 more keys cut for half the price he charges and they fit perfectly with out being filed down the bloke said hes used the wrong blanks,rubbish customer service rubbish material..

Have had several watches repaired here, and always had a good service. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Lots of bits and bobs in the shop. Wheelchair access not necessarily easy, but staff are enthusiastic about helping. Repair costs and watch batteries very reasonable.
