Best Western George Hotel
Lovely staff who get to know you very quickly. Great food and drinks, my sister tried most of the cocktails I think. Nice rooms, very clean. Great location to the city.

Best Western George Hotel
3star Best Western hotel. Stayed for 3 nights. Rooms v comfy , although no extractor in the bathroom stopped me giving rooms a 5star score + it did get very steamed up after showering. Staff friendly, professional + attentive. Superb breakfasts + dinner. A lovely little hotel to stay in....hope to return + would definitely recommend!

Quiet location and within walking distance of the city centre and all the restaurants/pubs/bars. They were also incredibly accomodating when we asked to change rooms for accessibility reasons, when they didn't have to be, for which we were incredibly grateful. Highly recommended.

Good smaller hotel. Slightly tucked away on outskirts but fine by me. Lovely reception welcome, nice rooms albeit some of the singles I get are very small. Boutique level standards though. My only small gripe is lovely bar but all Molson Coors beers which vegans cant drink (isinglass).

A very friendly and homely hotel with a manor house type setting. Clean rooms and great service. Room I stayed in on 1st floor was comfortable and adequate but I feel may be cold in winter as had single pane sash windows which didn't seal and there was no view, so okay for 1 or 2 nights. Bar and dining area roomy. Good menu, food well cooked and nicely presented and again service great. Breakfast cooked to order. Car park was busy on my visit and most nearby roads have parking restrictions so try to get there early to guarantee a space. Good location, 15 minutes walk to Norwich centre. All in all an enjoyable business stay would recommend and will be back.

Lovely hotel. Staff really friendly and helpful. Ate in the restaurant 3 times and each time food and service really good. Staff also very accomodating for our child. Parking on site and plenty of spaces. Would recommend to others and hope to return another time.

Best Western George Hotel
Very pleasant experience with check-in. Everything was explained in detail. Good room with en-suite bath. Air conditioning in room which was easy to control to our needs. TV had basic channels that were adequate for catching up on news and light entertainment. Breakfast was good with enough variety to please everyone. Included in price, which was great. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience with friendly staff.

It is rare that you can sense the feeling of community amongst the staff and regular guests at a hotel, but this is true at the George hotel which makes a wonderful welcome and sense of belonging for visitors and locals. At the same time also being very professional with excellent service and food. It makes trips to Norwich worth it even if the city wasn’t there!

Best Western George Hotel
Just booked for one night, but had travelled 300 miles from North Wales. Only realised the day before that the hotel was dog-friendly. Rang to see if I could bring my dog. The receptionist was really helpful and found me a room where I could take the dog. So, for just £10 extra the dog came too! It was his first time in a hotel and he very impressed with the room! So was I. The ensuite positively sparkled it was so clean, and the lovely big bath was a very welcome sight after driving for 8 hours. The buffet breakfast was impressive and good value for the price (so pleased to see grapefruit included, so many hotels have stopped including this in their breakfast fruit). My room was in the cottage annexe - very quiet (apart from a little woof of a greeting from the dog in the next room). I wish I'd been able to stay longer, but it was only a fleeting visit. Would highly recommend, especially if you have a dog.
