Very friendly, open to family and delicious hot food. Highly recommend the Sunday roast. The hostess was very friendly, welcoming and served us with a beautiful smile.

Went in to have lunch with my mum who’s in a wheelchair. Food really was fantastic. Home cooked and plenty of it! Staff very helpful. Lovely lady behind the bar did table service for us. Other customers also very helpful….had doors opened for us on the way in and out to help me get my mum in easily. Nice to see a local friendly pub.Will definitely visit again.

Very poor serviceAs we were a group of 6 they but us in the bar rather than the resteraunt. Our orders very taken quite quickly but then they, brought out the children's meals a good 20 minutes before everyone's else, so they were eating before the rest of us and it was a good 45m since we got there that the food came out, one at a time. However the food was very nice, but the service after was abysmal and after we had paid it took a while to get a receipt. It seemed like as we weren't in the main restaurant they slightly forgot about us.

We stopped by the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were extremely accommodating and the food was great! The restaurant area has only a few tables but this totally works to their advantage. I suggest booking ahead!

Friendly check in.Rooms are very clean.Felt very safe and secure, as a single woman travelling alone.Only thing missing was a hairdryer, but am sure if you asked they would get you one.Cant comment on the food, i didnt eat there.Thanks guys for having me i definitely will be back!

I stayed here the night before my wedding and the staff went above and beyond. The room was amazing (especially the bath!) the food was lovely, both evening meal and breakfast. I had bucks fizz for breakfast and in the evening. Honestly cannot praise this place enough. Don't hesitate to eat here or stay here. Thanks so much. Courtney
