Come up to Edinburgh from Manchester for the week and seen this place on the way to the Zoo. Thought we try it out. I’m glad we did! The Zesty chicken burger is easily the best chicken burger I’ve ever had, also the loaded fries are amazing! I would definitely recommend, thanks guys!

Couldn't fault a single thing here, burgers were delicious and utterly perfect, imagine a big mac on steroids, we haven't stopped craving them since! The staff were all extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and service was really quick despite how busy they were. Brilliant new addition to the Edinburgh food scene and we can't wait to visit again!

I visited Shakedown Edinburgh just a couple of days after their grand opening, and it was bustling with people. I can confidently say that the food was absolutely amazing! The shakes and waffle were to die for, and it was well worth the wait (expected on opening days). A fantastic addition to Edinburgh's dining scene! Will definitely be back again!

I recently tried out the new burger restaurant, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was inviting, the service was top-notch, and the burgers were simply delicious! Each bite was a burst of flavors – juicy, perfectly cooked patties complemented by fresh, high-quality toppings. The menu offers a fantastic variety, catering to different tastes, and the portion sizes were generous. It's definitely a go-to spot for burger enthusiasts. I'll be coming back for more without a doubt!

Attended the soft opening. The restaurant is super clean, funky and cool. The staff are very professional and friendly. There is a great vibe to chill and eat in. The food was amazing. I went for the Big Juicy meal, with an Oreo OD shake and a Strawberry Junction Waffle. The food was fantastic, high quality ingredients, not greasy and doesn’t have that meaty smell that you sometimes get at smash burger places.Food so good I forgot to take photos apart from of the waffle! Highly recommended! Definitely will be a regular spot for a munch!

I was lucky enough to attend the soft opening with my family. Between us, we had the opportunity to try several things on the menu.Firstly, the chicken burgers and tenders are absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, super juicy, and taste amazing!The beef burgers are insane, the beefed up was a favourite of mine.The loaded fries were great, fries didn't get soggy at all!Portions of everything were super generous, especially the desserts. The waffle is huge and one of the best I've had, milkshakes are all 10/10.

Food is 10/10 - very fresh and full of flavour. I have tried both their chicken and beef burgers which are just as good as each other but the beefed up is a personal favourite. (P.s add turkey rashers for an unreal combo.)Shakes are super creamy and thick and I love the variety of flavours - can’t decide which one to go for because they’re all just so good !!Staff are super friendly and very helpful, and service is always prompt even on their busiest of days!

Absolutely love this place!Shakedown is the halal burger place we’ve all been waiting for in Edinburgh.The burgers were absolutely delicious (we had 3 different types and loved all), the fries and sauces were great (especially the smoked mustard) and the shakes were lovely!Will definitely be back!

Had the amazing opportunity to attend the soft launch and it did not disappoint —Finally a good halal burger place in Edinburgh! The vibe and ambience is really nice and a great place to come with both family and friends.For starters I had the chicken tenders which were surprisingly well seasoned and paired really well with both the honey mustard and spicy mayo sauces.I also had the American loaded fries, they were topped with well seasoned chicken pieces, and the fries remained hot and crispy!For the meal I tried the stack sandwich as I wanted to give both the chicken and beef patties a try and it was marvellous. The chicken was juicy and the beef was soft and tender. Next time I’m excited to try beefed up for a full beef patty meal.For dessert I had the half moon waffles and the Billionaire Blend milkshake! The milkshake tasted like heaven on earth, a perfect way to end a meal. Will definitely be back even if just for the shakes!
