Lovely little area for walking , picnics and enjoying the surrounding countryside with the family. The river Severn flows alongside the field but be careful of the strong currents.

Beautiful walks from here along the river to Bevere Island or back into town. Relatively accessible path, access yi the river at different points down a steep (but manageable) bank. Lovely nature and bird life and plenty of meadows for a dog to run around.

It’s tops down here any time of day or night. Car park and good walks up and down the river. Be careful with the River, people have been swept down stream. It gets low in the summer.

The slip itself is smaller than I expected. It's OK to take your dog for a paddle. The large meadow is nice (except for the used bbq's and empty beer cans left lying around). The river side walk up to Bevere Island was very nice. Also some good information boards. Lived in Worcester all my life but didn't know all the history about the area until today.

It's a lovely walk. But a real shame on the Council not to repair the pathway - closing it to the public, therefore denying everyone the chance to enjoy healthy outdoor activity along the beautiful banks of the Severn.

We parked here and took the Northwick Heritage Trail. It was a lovely walk along the river and back through Northwick, recommend by friends. There is a height barrier so if you've got boats on the van roof like we did, you'll have to park on the road before the lane.
