We were on a trip to Arcade Clubs Leeds and at the last minute we decided to have an Indian. After looking around we found Sheesh Mahal looked OK, so we called them and they found space for 8 of us on a Saturday night. Once we arrived the service and staff were fantastic. The food was great and the price was very reasonable!!!! I only wish we had an Indian restaurant as good as this near us. Would 100% recommend!!!!!

I've loved this curry house since i was a kid and it doesn't ever drop its standards. They've added Kirkstall Virtuous to the drinks range since my last visit and its a great pairing with the food.

5*** Food really nice, customer service great after having a mix up with delivery/collection (my fault) they promptly sorted it and still delivered for me, hot!..definitely our new regular go to curry house!

A fantastic meal and brilliant service. Azram is such a welcoming host, he makes you feel like a returning friend and so relaxed, just the way it should be! The food is just superb, between us we had fish pakora starter... chicken dopiaza, chicken biryani and lamb nihari...so much flavour and cooked perfectly. All the staff were polite, friendly and we never felt rushed. All in all a fabulous meal and experience, we will definitely be back...sooner than the 35 years it took for our first visit!!

I've been visiting here for years and can't recommend it enough. Great food and very friendly staff. We always been able to get a table even when they are particularly busy on Fridays and Saturdays at 9pm.

Iv not been here for 20 years but now it will be my no1 curry house. Absolutely amazing service. Popadoms was on my table before I taken my coat off!The food was amazing, chicken tikka saag was so tender and the garlic nann was exceptional. A added bonus is they sell kirkstall ales on draft

I was really impressed. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive.The waiter knew the menu really well and we were asked about any allergies and how spicy we enjoyed our food. They tailored the dishes to our preference and checked in with us to make sure everything was to our liking. We had a really lovely evening meal here and I will definitely go back and recommend to others.The Butter Chicken was my favourite.

Avoid, the food is pretty subpar, the service is fine, restuarant is nice but yeah, Chicken Tikka Massala was watery and not spicy enough, garlic naan was ok, Chicken and Mushroom Biryani tasted weird and overloaded with peas. If you want a decent curry go to the cats pyjamas in Headingly.
