Y'Gelli camping

What an absolute pleasure staying here. The family cannot do enough for you. We were hammock camping. There was plenty of wood for the fire and the owners left a 5 gallon container of water. They put our equipment into the trailer and quad biked it to the pitch. Which was a good job as the only down side is everything is on a slope. Beautiful sunset and a VERY old birch tree. Fantastic opportunity if you are first time hammockers as there are plenty of trees to choose from and if it all goes wrong the owners are only a phone call or short walk away to help you out.

Will definatly be returning in the summer. All the staff where so welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. Our tent was outstanding every thing we needed was provided and the little decorative touches made it very homely. We ordered food for breakfast and tea and couldnt find a fault food was delivered to our tent boiling hot and tasted amazing!. Perfect get away for a brake from day to day life. X

Me and a friend did our first multi day camping hike and this place was a haven for us.Amazing owners and beautiful plot of land. I’d highly recommend to anyone!

Lovely 2 days camping at Y'gelli. I wanted the little ones aged 6-9 to experience camping in the wild. (With the luxury of a Bell Tent to make them feel safer).The kids thought it was magical that they could roam the forest and sleep outside, listening to the wildlife and toasting marshmallows around the fire.They enjoyed using their imaginations to create games, go trecking, build dens and be free. Newquay was a 30 minute drive and a beautiful beach. We spotted dolphins and swam in the sea. Returned to hot dogs, tea and more marshmallows.Thank you to the lovely owners for making us and the children feel welcome and we will return!

Fabulous location, friendly welcome. Great bell tents. All you need for a peaceful relaxing stay. Can't wait to go again.

Tricky one this. Lovely hosts, well organised site, beautiful surroundings but one draw back. Depending on what site you have. The one I had was at the bottom and close to the main road which has a lot of traffic day and night. But I would stay there again
