Edge Progressive Paddling Kayak Club

Friendly club with great access to river and loads of boats and plenty of expertise. Regular expeditions, white water, sea kayaking, touring and surfing.

On my first visit to the club I was instantly made to feel welcome and part of the group, I have been to a few clubs in the past and Edge definitely are a welcoming bunch. Lots of kit available, room for participation at all levels of ability and with a great location on the river to boot.

Very friendly and supportive paddling club with many opportunities for involvement and progressing one's paddling skills. I joined on the basis of my first visit. On a very protected stretch of the Thames wide enough to avoid issues with other river users. Many kayaks and access to more specialised craft. Glad I joined up but they do take novices and allow people to try the club. Warning to cars: limited off street parking.

Great club. Very friendly. Good quality equipment. Good coaching. Amazing trips away and great local kayaking on the Thames and in the pool.

An excellent club where, beginner or expert, you'll find a friendly, supportive, sociable and well equipped club to join in all aspects of kayaking, at all levels in a variety of environments very locally, further away, or very much further away indeed.
