Since being taken under the wing of Antic London, this once highly respected clubhouse faithfully retains a large amount of its original décor, sporting memorabilia and quirky trinkets.Honouring its reputation as a social hotspot, BBC (as it is known to the locals), is a warren of spacious rooms and cosy hangouts. Boasting a stunning restaurant, two bars, three grand hire spaces and a spacious beer garden at the rear, Balham Bowls Club is perfect for every social occasion. The bar offers a wide variety of spirits, rotational wines, bottled beers and ciders. In addition to this, we have a range of real ale hand pumps serving Cask Marque certified local and regional ales, so expect to be kept on your toes!Our kitchen offers a snacking Bar Menu throughout the pub and sit-down Dining Menu, serving fresh seasonal British pub fare. When you go out for a roast sometimes it can be disappointing, but not this one. Super reasonable prices and delicious food - highly recommend!

I have a lot of love this pub, very lucky to have it as a local! Big fan of the interior and the garden, staff are always lovely too. Hired the upstairs room for a party, such a great space. Jean looked after us incredibly well, he had such a wonderful energy the whole evening and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for food, grabbing a pint, private hire or all of the above!

Another absolutely amazing Sunday lunch again. The Yorkshire puddings were amazing, as was the Roast Beef. The veg and gravy were amazing and plenty of it. I travelled 5 miles for this and always will, because there is no better Sunday Lunch (In my opinion) in Balham, Tooting Bec, Tooting Broadway and Colliers Wood.The desert was outstanding according to my friend, best he’s had. Do yourselves a favour and have your Sunday lunch here!

Great venue. I am a member of Monumental Choir and we practice here every Monday night (come join us!). We do performances here and it's always a great crowd.I also went to a wedding reception here that was brilliant as we had the whole upstairs to ourselves with a private bar. Super fun, and great staff.

First visit on a friend's recommendation. I was really impressed with this large, quirky, welcoming pub. Excellent selection of beers and an historical interior give a cosy atmosphere in the choice of several rooms. I will return.

Great place for an amazing relaxed Sunday dinner at reasonable cost. We were made really welcome by all the staff with our 2 dogs. I especially enjoyed the veggie option and extra Yorkshires. Can't wait to be back.

I came in here on the off chance as i was passing by. It had a lovely atmosphere and i was made to feel welcome. Sat down to have some lunch i was looked after so well by the manager a lovely lady we had a great chat as i was by myself. I had the burger and chips which was delicious and great value for money so filling. Next time im in the area i will definitely go back.

Me and my family had such a lovely time visiting this pub. The roast was delicious and the service was amazing. The lady with blue hair went over and above to make sure all our needs were met. Great atmosphere, very friendly staff. A lovely pub and we will definitely be visiting again.
