Carriage Works Lostwithiel Dental

One word describes my feelings about this practice and that is FABULOUS. From the lovely reception staff to the nurses and dentists. It was my first visit ( after being without a dentist for 6yrs) to the surgery and I was nervous . I was treated with compassion and kindness . This is the model every practice should aspire to be . I can actually say I’m looking forward without fear to my course of treatment which was fully explained to me. A HUGE Thankyou .

Very friendly and professional. Pain-free treatment so far. Only gripe is it feels as though they don't trust that you are going to pay them and it always seems to be about the money. Having been private dental for over 20 years and joining this practice very recently, it seems as though they think more about making sure you pay up front rather than on the day of treatment. Coming from a practice where you pay as you go, this was a bit surprising to me. Hopefully, they will realise I can be trusted soon and not assume I will leave without paying.

From the moment I arrived until I left , I was impressed with the way I was treated, the friendliness and professional atmosphere. The plan of treatment was explained, the options and the way forward. My previous dentist left me with issues , these were dispelled within my first visit .

As a very anxious patient, I have received the best experience ever at Carriage Works from entering the building to leaving. The reception and waiting area is bright and comfortable, the clinical room I had surgery in was spotlessly clean and well equipped with up to date technology and wonderful, friendly staff on hand.The staff are warm, welcoming, caring, understanding, professional and skilled in the art of distracting conversation for an anxious patient. Finlay is the first dental surgeon in all my 68 years who has been able to fully put me at ease with his excellent knowledge, expertise and confidence.I highly recommend Carriage Works for everything one can possibly need in terms of up to date and pain free dentistry.

The staff and the dentist were very polite and professional. The dentist was very thorough and explained everything to me, he was polite and very professional, he was caring and gentle whilst looking at my teeth. I couldn't have had anyone better to look after my teeth. Thank you.

Friendly, reassuring, welcoming and professional dentist and dental nurse. Calm, relaxing environment. Parking adjacent. Longish wait time to get first appointment. Reception staff seemed somewhat overwhelmed and the online links to various forms, etc did not work on several occasions, necessitating further phone calls

After phoning the emergency line and getting an appointment at Carriage Works, I was kept until all treatments I needed were complete. My dentist was Jack and he was amazing. The level of care I was given here I have never received anywhere else before. All members of staff were lovely and acted as though they genuinely cared, I was given X-rays and talked through each teeth and what work each tooth might require. Having anaesthetic was the most gentle I’ve ever had. I am so grateful I was seen and given treatment here. I am gutted that I can’t be kept on as one of their own patients. If I could afford private dental care this would be the practice I would choose.
