Couldn't been seen by out of hours because my dog was not registered. I'm no driver. Person on the phone told me to get a pet taxi. My dog had signs of internal bleeding and you didn't help because I wasn't registered at that vet.Update on my dog: My dog sadly passed away. She suffered a 20 minute car journey when these vets are a 5 minute car journey.

In the early hours of this morning, I saw a post on fb from a lady whose kitten was very poorly but she couldn't afford the vets fees. I tried to help even though I live an hours drive away and tried to call your emergency line twice, she had already called you i believe but been told the fee would be £250 just for the consultation. No one answered. Sadly, the kitten passed away from what I suspect was a bladder blockage. I was willing to pay the fee and the taxi ride for a complete stranger but no answer :( very disappointing.

It’s early days as I’ve just recently registered my two dogs with Northlands but so far the service and staff have been excellent. Calm, unhurried and knowledgeable. Lovely reception staff too. Would definitely recommend this practice.

My wee dog Bella is very poorly with a twisted stomach. The emergency vet Rosie suspected this and whisked Bella away so they could start work immediately on her and as Rosie expected Bella did have a twisted stomach. Rosie and the team have kept me updated and have been honest but empathetic with Bella's prognosis. Praying my girl pulls through. Thank you Northlands vets.

Very good practice, love the new premises and the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Reassured me with some concerns I had with my dog and also gave me a appointment at a quiet time with no other dogs as he is reactive to other dogs

Northlands have been looking after our pets for many years and are always caring and helpful. It is good to know that they are there 24 hours a day. All staff have always been professional and I would recommend Northlands. It is also good to have local surgeries available too.

I was referred to Northlands from my vets due to my cat Ronnie having a luxating patella. This is very rare in cats. His leg had gotten so bad that he was practically lame and myself and my partner were distraught, our baby was just getting worse so we were referred to Adrian. I have to say I think he is brilliant. He told me he would take X-rays and see exactly what was going on. He then called me and said it was urgent that they needed to operate as he was so young he would get worse very quickly if he did not. I never once felt pressured to do this but felt comforted he would be the person to help my cat. He booked the operation for the following Tuesday. He had his operation and came home the same day with antibiotics and pain medication to return in I think 4 weeks for him to check on him. I have to say we have not looked back since then. His leg is now amazing and we have our happy baby boy back. Thank you so much to Adrian he is brilliant and myself and partner found the staff very caring towards this situation.
