My fiancé and I went with our 1 year old on Saturday evening to have something to eat on the way home. There was no one at the door to greet people, look after track and trace, ensure masks were worn etc so we entered and found seats directly in front of the bar that were unoccupied. We sat there for 15 minutes as at least 5 members of staff, including someone who looked like a manager, looked at us, walked past us and completely ignored us - not so much as acknowledging we were there. Even as we got up to leave, no one so much as commented.I would like to add that we have been here in the past and the food has been very nice and we have never had an issue with service, however this was unbelievably bad.

Main food and drinks were gorgeous. Had to skip dessert as it was quite dry. Beautiful setting and great atmosphere

Great bar, surprisingly really good food for pub grub. Nice breakfasts, decent music and very clean (when there's not football on) my only complaint would be that the live music can be very loud depending on the artist playing. If it was a dancing bar I could understand but this to me is more of a relaxed spot, so I think the music should correspond.

Really good spot. One of those places you need to know about to go to - hidden gem. Very very good. I had the meatball sub from the express menu and it was absolutely delicious. Very succulent meat, lovely sauce, cheese and rocket in it too. Friendly staff, well decorated inside, and a great location make this a solid choice for lunch!

Really nice food and friendly staff. Cocktail list a bit underwhelming. Same with whiskey stock. However food, staff and atmosphere would definitely warrant return visit. Very pro active with current guidelines

We stayed at Dukes on Queens Hotel next door and thought why not give this a try. It was well worth it. The service was excellent. Drink selection was really good with a wide variety to choose from. The food on the menu is quite modest, but caters for most tastes and the food itself is of a very good standard. There was also a live singer on which added nicely to the overall experience. Can highly recommend The Practitioner.

Lovely Restaurant and Bar. Food was amazing plenty of deals on a Thursday accompanied with live music. Great cocktails and excellent service. Couldn’t recommend more!!
