DSS Electrical

I've used DSS on multiple occasions over the last few years in two different (residential) properties. Dan and team have always had great communication, fair and transparent pricing, provided honest advice, and done a great job. I would certainly recommend them.

Dan and the team were excellent. They carried out a variety of works, all to a very high standard.Dan arranged to drop by to view the property and discuss what we wanted. Very easy-going and friendly, and no pressure/hard sell. He clearly had a lot of experience and came up with helpful suggestions/solutions, all of which we subsequently went with and worked out perfectly.Dan is very responsive on emails etc, so you’re never waiting for him to get back to you. Also they were never late, even though the team had to travel some distance to the property.On the works themselves, where we had specific requests/requirements these were no bother and were closely followed, but where we let the team work out the details of the installs (eg positioning and number of lights) they just got on with it and the results were great.The other thing to note is that the whole team was positive and friendly, and very considerate about working around us - turning off internet/power etc when it suited us not them. We have further upgrades planned and will definitely use DSS Electrical again.Works: outdoor lighting (photos are of only some of the works), external power sockets, WiFi extension/boosting.

Really happy with the service - we had a positive experience with DSS Electrical throughout.Dan was very responsive from the beginning and offered to come in for an initial consultation to understand what needs to be done and provide an accurate quote. The quote came through shortly after, along with a booking confirmation for a date and specific timeframe - which was really helpful in terms of planning our time around the appointment.On the day, Phil came at the agreed time and did a great job. He took his shoes off before coming into the house, which was appreciated. I highly recommend going with DSS Electrical for any electrical work.

Cannot recommend Dan and his team highly enough. From the quote process through to the actual work, everything is clear, pricing is very reasonable, quality of work is really high, and all members of the team are friendly, helpful and very professional. They are on time too and come when they say they will !! Dan is a great head of the team, with a very clear way of operating, and communication/flexibility is first class, so that you don’t get any surprises with your bill. Excellent, professional, all round high quality. My first time using them and can’t recommend highly enough.

I reached out to Dan with regard to some smart garden lighting I wanted to eventually do, but with the challenge that our garden had zero electrical connections and terrible wifi coverage. He came and inspected the garden and came up with a brilliant plan to support any future project. He was extremely polite, friendly, and responsive to questions as we figured things out. The work was completed today and is absolutely faultless. I'm genuinely excited about the things I'll now be able to setup in my garden knowing that the foundations Dan came up with, and the installation by his team, are solid. I absolutely intend to use DSS in the future.

I recently used DSS and can highly recommend them. I was impressed by the quick and professional email responses from Dan and being kept informed of the date and time of the visiting engineer. We have dealt with Dan and his team on numerous occasions, installing lighting throughout the house and a security light in the garden. They are always helpful, will go to great lengths to source suitable products and install promptly and efficiently. Highly recommended.

Dan and his team are some of the most professional and friendly people I've met. We needed the whole house rewiring including installation of a new consumer unit, taking out all the old cabling and just generally bringing the house up to modern regs. My partner and I are so happy with the work that Dan and Jordan have done, it's completely changed the feel of the house and made it feel a lot more modern. DSS electrical was recommended to me by a few people locally (including the surveyor who did our homebuyers report). I can't recommend Dan and his team enough.
