Tesco Superstore

Not a great store with a poor choice in my opinion. However, the state of the grounds leaves a lot to be desired and detracts from the image of the area. Surely, the might of Tesco can afford to keep the area litter free on a more regular basis? I understand it is not Tesco littering but the people going there but it has to be cleared. It does put me off.

Usually tesco in burnham is a nice experience for me. However today, we experienced a new system in which stops trollies when the beeper goes off as leaving the store (due to stealing) As we all know, sometimes beepers tend to go off randomly and we get sent away knowing we haven’t shop lifted. Today me and my mother who not long ago had a serious accident causing her to get serious pain on her pelvis, were leaving the shop as the beeper went off. This silly idea of a “stealing system” can cause pain on people, especially elderly folk. Unfortunately my mum had a bash to the hip and it was followed up by the most arrogant security guard i’ve come across. He was mocking mum, laughing and saying “shall i call an ambulance” even tho we explained it wasn’t severe, infact we were just politely stating that that system isn’t worth hurting people who are fragile and injured previously or currently. Tesco has a good name and that one rude security guard (Ozzie) has let customer service down for me. I’m surprised i didn’t loose my temper completely, no one will ever speak to my mum with disregard or try and mock her of her accident. I hope this loser gets what he deserves!

Love Tesco and mainly used to go there for their Seafood section which was great,but they have now done away with this which is a shame.It’s great they have an in-house pharmacy.Also great that you can recycle your plastic bags

I think this a very good Tesco store…well stocked extremely clean..wide range of products and helpful staff. Plenty of parking spaces available and disabled parking spaces too along with electric car charging parking / charging facilities..full disability access throughout and disabled parking spaces available…highly recommend

The staff are always friendly, there is ample parking including a good number of disabled and parent and child spots. The shop is light and airy and has a good range of fresh, frozen and store cupboard items. Also has a small home wear and toys section, cards and clothes although they are small. Also has a pharmacy open til late. Good prices, good produce and lovely staff.Can get very busy through the holiday season, but that's the nature of the area.

What a tonic today going through Andy's till at Burnham only half an hour ago. Very customer friendly and willing to have a bit of banter. An asset to Tesco customer service.

Worker chases customers around on a Sunday, shouting at them to leave when there's still at least 10 minutes before closing. It's incredibly stressful, especially when you have autism. It's hard enough for me to shop anyway, let alone whilst being shouted at. I've had multiple panic attacks because of this. Also, the online stock check is never accurate.

The staff were lovely. Store very clean but was very cold. I shop here regularly and it has never been that cold. We couldn't wait to get out.

Always has everything I need. It's a busy shop but the staff are very good at keeping everything stocked up. Good value for money. Possibly could do with all the tills open at busy times but I know sometimes this isn't possible due to various reasons. Friendly staff and friendly security guards.

Maybe less patronising staff on the self service pointing out the bags wasn’t free. I think I was aware bags wasn’t free. I just wasn’t aware that you couldn’t do it on the till when it asks how many bags instead of scanning themThank you
