We-Anchor-In-Hope
Had a wake in there in the week, really lovely staff, friendly and welcoming.Could do with a lick of paint on the outside but don't be fooled, the inside's really nice decor, traditional and cosy. Decent, clean toilets. Put on a wonderful spread, especially the beef(cooked to perfection) sandwiches.

This is a very nice pub serving good food and drinks. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. I sat on a raised platform area which was a nice spot. I would definitely return.

The food, great. The service even better. We always drive past this place but decided to bite the bullet and stop in for a spot of lunch and can quite confidently say it was the best decision to do so. The pub had that warm friendly feeling as soon as you walked through the door greeted with a smile and treated as if you was family.I will definitely be returning at my earliest convenience.

Great experience at this pub. Came for lunch on a Monday. Bartender was friendly and polite. Food was served very promptly. Was very enjoyable. Ample parking. Dog friendly. Only annoyance is a really loud bell going off each time someone’s food is ready to be picked up by a waiter.

Went to a child's party here where the extensive garden was more than able to accommodate.Patrons are allowed to bring their dogs here but are not encouraged to clean up after them. This was evident by the poo dotted around the garden where the children were playing. The guy that served our food was definitely not happy with his job, and it showed.The food was OK, but the wait for it was not.To top it all, my partner came to pick me up and later received a parking penalty of £60 for a 14-minute wait in the car park.There may have been signs warning of this, but when you go to a pub car park, this is not what you would usually expect.I spoke to the manager about the parking fine, and she generously offered to quash it.

Spend a lovely evening with friends at We-Anchor-in-Hope enjoying their Christmas menu. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming! Will definitely return! Well done everyone and thank you!

Travelled down south to see some family and friends, popped in for Dinner (which was very nice indeed, tasty and reasonably priced).What was Popping in, turned out being a longer stay than expected.Brilliant staff, great service and atmosphere.....we didn't want to leave!Thank you especially to Becks for having us! Hopefully see you again very soon!

The staff where fantastic and very friendly, would really recommend to anyone in the area. The food was delicious and for the price you cannot beat it. 10/10

We-Anchor-In-Hope
Been here before and never had any problems. Today food is out of stock.Great service by staff friendly and helpful.Went there with four adults and one child.The food when it arrived was ok.I had a senior meal which was cheaper but the meal was too small.
