Heron Foods

After collecting stamps I wanted to use my stamps before the book was completed. When I got to the till I was told I can't use them I politely told her I could as I have done this before, she then told me to put my card over the credit card reader, I told her I wanted to use my stamps again she told me no then said I suppose you want a manager, I told her yes after the manager came she told her I can use the stamps so she mumbled under her breath which I think was appology. This was awful in front of other people, I also know you have to fill in the form on the stamp card which I never did she should of looked and asked me to fill it in. I hope no other customers have to go threw what I had to. If she had said the manager isn't in store at the moment and I don't know if your allowed to use the stamps like that and would you mind using them another time and in the meantime I will find out about how the stamps work.

My local Heron store, and well worth the weekly visit to get stuff for the week, might not be a main shop kind of a place for us, but it's great for the rest of the stuff we need with an 11 year old, a 10 year old and a 2 year old. The staples are the same week in, week out, but the specials change regularly and there's always something to tempt you in the fridges!

Quick oit stop for some essentials

Fri afternoon visit. 24c outside, nice & cool inside, the air con was working a treat. Quick dash round, had what I wanted & straight through at the till. Car parking just around the corner.Some items are short dated, a month or so left. The prices are reflected in the shelf life left on these. Regular visitor.

It's a great store, always very neat and tidy, with amazing customer service and highly affordable products

Nice little shop, right next to the free council carpark, excellent value.If I was to be petty, I'd put the frozen stuff on the final isles, not the first isles. Once I bought frozen stuff I had to rush round the rest of the shop scared my frozen stuff would defrost. That's a small issue though. Overall this place is great

Always have really good offers at Heron Foods too many to put in this post but the Gastro range in the photo was just 1 of many they try to make you safe when you shop there with whats going on with the Covid-19 varus by having a one way system to go round the store so will always go back & shop there, the Youngs Gastro range are absolutely gorgeous so well worth trying. You can always find a bargain at Heron. The staff are so polite & helpful & there always to help when you cannot find what your looking for. There's no shopping restrictions now so its alot easy to shop & browse

The staff are great but prices constantly going up. Twin pack of Digestives gone from 2.29 in past few months now to 2.99 ! Shop here less and less as charging far far more than inflation rate !!!
