Quite simply the worst factoring company out there. They don’t answer emails, they overcharge, they don’t actually repair or factor anything. They are completely incompetent.

This company is absolutely shocking. They do not reply to emails even from solicitors. You cannot get through on the phone. They bully and demand money where none is due. There is nothing you can do to make contact and discuss issues. If I could give negative 10 stars I would. Appalling company. God help you if your property comes under their mismanagement. One of the worst companies I have had the misfortune to try" and deal with.They should hang their heads in shame."

If I said this company was useless I would be bumming them up. I don't know what they are doing in the factoring business. They are a bunch of Amateurs.

Not as good nor value for money service as the previous company G&S.

Avoid at all costs they are absolutely horrendous. They randomly doubled our bill and won’t answer my emails asking for an explanation. They lobbed a late payment admin charge on our latest bill as well. We’ve gone from £35 bills to £125 in the space of two invoices

James Gibb are the factors on our Edinburgh flat. They were in charge of a re-decoration project and have been woefully inadequate. The project has now cost the communal owners over £1,000 extra so far due in part to their mis-management. I see from their previous reviews we are not the only ones they have fallen short for. Definitely do not use them unless you have to.

James Gibb bought Reavley Factoring on 01/04/22 - as Reavley customer my mother was notified of this on 01/04/22, with no prior notice. She had already paid for her years factoring to them in full. When accounts were finally transferred from Reavley to James Gibb, my mother’s credit was missing. I finally managed to receive confirmation from Patrick Skehan at Reavley that my mother’s credit had not been transferred and that she is owed over £500, and I have been chasing this refund with James Gibb for almost two months. Disgraceful service, very poor customer service, continually fobbed off with ‘I’ve spoken to the finance manager’ type emails. My mother is stressed out waiting for money that belongs to her. James Gibb should be ashamed

Steer well clear. They tend to overcharge you for their services, without being clear as what the charges are precisely for. They were a pain to get rid off when we sold our property, and we ended up having to pay a late notification fee, although we contacted them well before we sold our property. Would not recommend this company to anyone.

Scammers. Avoid. Absolutely waste of money and time.I bought a new build house few years ago at housing estate with around 96 new build houses and now city council adopted most the estate to maintain. James Gibb still have a few meters square of lawn to cut at our estate and they charging us a fortune. We can't get rid of them and its just a pain in a back side
