Great service. Watched my own running style on video. Time and service were generous and friendly. However, winced at paying £16.99 for proper running socks.

I've been to the Monument shop to check out some trainers. You immediately feel that you're a burden and not wanted, the customer service is horrible, the staff don't smile and seem in a bad mood (Except for the lady at the desk upstairs, she was nice). Asked the guy few questions and his answers were completely wrong and then asked to try on some trainers and he gave them to me and literary disappeared, then I found him standing at the end of the floor not asking me if the size is right or if giving me other options etc.... I wouldn't be surprise if this company goes bankrupt due to their below than average customer service.PS: I also went to their shop near Petticoat Lane and the service there was similar so I guess it's a company wide issue.

Great products. But Simply aweful. Not enough employees. The one we spoke to had no idea how to deal with the error in pricing those that actually had prices on them. An item that was marked down to £339 was actually £399. When challenged she said all she needed to do was remove the item remove the label and put it bad. However she made no effort to remove it ready to ensnare the next customer

Had a great gait analysis with Sara, very knowledgeable, no nonsense, and plenty of time to try out the suitable options on the treadmill. It's a busy location so best to book ahead like we did.

I went in here as it was my nearest store but merely to get advice on a new pair of trainers as I wanted to take up running, THREE members of staff were incredibly rude. One ignored me. Another told me 'you can clearly see I am busy' after HE asked ME a question and not the other way round. The third told me that 'trainers won't make you run'. WTH? She was also adamant that there was no such thing as trainers for someone looking to take up running yet the Runners Need website clearly has a section on this. When I raised this I was told I was wrong about the website that I had only checked 30 minutes before.Incredibly bad service given the type of shop it is.

Was a little apprehensive after seeing negative reviews on here but I had a fantastic experience. Had a gait analysis done (first time I’ve had that), staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and got to try on several pairs of shoes and give them a go on the treadmill. Good selection of all sorts of running stuff there. Would recommend.

Went here for a gait analysis and the assistant was incredibly dismissive of my questions or concerns. He was incredibly confrontational. I thought it was because of something I'd done but he was exactly the sane with other customers. Would never go here again as what should have been a positive and informative experience turned into a negative and very unhelpful session. Was so glad to leave

Customer service is very poor. You walk in and the lady working the counter comes across as very moody and not wanting to be there. She then directs you downstairs, where the staff are a bit better, but not really by much.I thought I had a one off experience, but then I read the other reviews people had left here.I agree with the other reviews where people say that customers appear to be a burden for the staff.

Would not recommend this establishment. Been to runners need before in High-street Kensington. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and able to make recommendations on shoes.Monument store another story. First member of Staff was half asleep and didn't provide any information on questions. A tattooed female member off staff rudely and loudly made a comment across the shop floor about my questioning towards her colleague, i was purely asking for recommendation and type of heel support in running trainers. When I asked further she didn't elaborate and just walked off while shutting my question down. Would not purchase from this store or recommend anyone to visit.Disappointed due to previous good experiences with runners need. Avoid the Monument branch like the plague!

I can't use the word customer service here. The women upstairs should quit if they are so miserable, find a nice office job and stop customer facing. They have more shoes than most of other runners need that's the only reason they get one ⭐
