Sarah's Dog Training & Behaviour

Sarah is absolutely fabulous! Not only is she knowledgeable in everything dog, she is also good with the humans too, even when we keep getting it wrong.The classes are fun and engaging and I've see so much progress with my dog's teenage attitude.We can't wait to come back and have only stopped due to a clash in commitments.

After just 2 sessions our young dog has gone from being boisterous and distracted to being a pleasure to walk, ignoring other dogs and much more engaged. Sarah is such a knowledgeable and skilled instructor as well as being friendly and patient. She is also very professional with an excellent booking and follow up system. Looking forward to many more sessions with her.

Sarah is fantastic - we were recommended Sarah's Dog Training & Behaviour by 2nd Chance Dogs (the charity we rescued our dog from in Cyprus) when we approached them asking who could best support us when our dog showed signed of fearful aggression.Sarah was so easy to work with and pointed out things we did not realise we were doing wrong, but which have made a big difference. We worked on so much more than just the fearful aggression during our two 1-2-1 sessions. My partner and I feel much more confident in what we are doing and how to best support our rescue dog because of Sarah's advice and guidance.I would (and already have) recommended her to anyone. She really wants the best for the dogs and will do what she can to help.

Sophie needed to improve on some basic skills and burn off some energy! Hoopers was the perfect class for her and Sarah is a great trainer, she knows her stuff! Sophie’s humans got taught a thing or two as well!Would highly recommend this class to anybody with an active dog that needs mental and physical stimulation!

We started our training with Sarah in August of 2022.Our rescue (Atka) has problems with dog reactivity and guests visiting the house. He was a bit over 1 year old at the time and he had some baggage" due to his previous life.Through consistent training and teaching from Sarah we can absolutely see steady improvement.We already had a previous experience with a different trainer but immediately notice the different approach Sarah to training. She's calm and clear with her instructions and she instills confidence in you. She really understands dogs' body language and she can transfer that knowledge to you in a very easy way.7 months later

Sarahs been great help with our reactive German shepherd. We’ve been doing both workshops and 1-2-1s with Sarah. Highly recommend.

Only a few days in following our training session with Sarah, for my reactive large breed dog and already seeing results and feeling much more positive and comfortable on our walks. It all makes sense once it's explained and the report and help sheets are very useful for me to refer back to. I have previously had training which worked to a point, but was more about control than changing her behavior, and she was still stressed. This feels much more in tune with a longer term solution and much better for the dog too as she is enjoying her walks (and the cheese)100% recommend, thank you Sarah

Sarah has been working with Tess and me for two years now.Tess was extremely shut down after being handed in to dogs trust at 18months old ,in 2020,as a very nervous unusable sheep dog,in ireland!!!We continue with one to one's,but also have done,scent training and are currently progressing with our socialisation and not reacting to others in this class.Without Sarah's endless,knowledge encouragement and support, we wouldn't be at this point today.When Tess came to me she lived in the back if the house,did not venture into the main rooms,very nervous.She has slowly turned into a proper"dog!!
