This is the second time I’ve had Dr Emily do my treatment and can’t fault it! Emily is fantastic at what she does, very patient and reassuring, she really put me at ease before and during the treatment.Emily loves what she does, she wants you to feel good about yourself so makes sure the results are enhancing and natural. The lip, cheek and chin fillers have given me a lovely fresh, plumper look which is great for me as I do find now that I’m a bit older my face is looking a rather thin! The Botox she did is also great, not completely frozen so I still have some movement but a reduction in lines...I love it!Emily is also very knowledgeable with her medical background through her dentistry, I really wouldn't trust anyone else to do my facial treatment!

I was very anxious when I first went to see Dr Emily Swift at Hidden Gem about having some botox , with my main concern that I did not want to look frozen and like a rabbit in headlights. Emily was so kind and thorough and we discussed all the options and pros and cons. I also had to fill in a very detailed medical questionnaire. To start with I only had a little botox for the lines on my forehead and crows feet. I was at a very low point in my life and knew when I looked in the mirror that I looked very tired and fatigued. I wanted to feel a bit better about myself and try and get some of my 'sparkle' ' back. The whole procedure was painless and Emily explained everything that she was doing. The very next morning she texted me to ensure I was ok and had not had any side effects. Happily I hadn't. My friends and colleagues started to comment approximately a week later that I was looking less tired and yes when I looked in the mirror, my forehead was a lot less lined and my crows feet reduced, but my eyebrows were not half way up my forehead as I have seen with other people who have had too much botox. I have always been realistic that I am in my 50s and do not want /can't look like a 20 year old, but just appear 'refreshed' and Emily has always been very mindful of that. That was over 2 years ago and gradually I became more and more confident and have had more botox and even some filler in my cheeks. Emily is such a professional, knowledgeable and kind person and will always be realistic and honest in what can be achieved. Being a dentist gave me the extra assurance that she was aware of every nerve and muscle in my face and so gave me the confidence that she is a very experienced and safe practitioner. I can highly recommend her if you are thinking about having some aesthetics carried out.
