I had the pleasure of revisiting Louisa's chocolate shop today after being away for a few months, and I was instantly reminded why this place is truly one-of-a-kind. As soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by the incomparable energy that fills the air, making this more than just a shop – it's an experience.Louisa herself is a gem. An expert in her craft, her enthusiasm is contagious. She immediately approached me with a variety of delightful samples, elevating my visit from a simple shopping trip to a tasteful adventure. The chocolates, needless to say, are incredible! And expertly crafted.Louisa's energy, the second you enter the shop is awe inspiring, and is certainly infectious as I left the store with a huge smile on my face thanks to her positivity and all the free chocolate samples I could hope for!Louisa and I had an engaging conversation that ranged from the nuances of chocolate-making to life's simple joys. It's rare to find a local business owner who invests so much into not just their products, but also their customers.In summary, Louisa's chocolate shop is more than just a destination for excellent chocolates. It's an experience filled with warmth, expertise, and an energy unmatched by any artisan business I have visited in Nottingham. If you haven't yet had the opportunity to visit, do yourself a favor and go. You won't regret it.

Ethical, excellent and delicious , vegan chocolate! Luisa (the store owner) help us to pick the taste of bars and explained us how they make the chocolate ! It was an informative chocolate taste afternoon. We tried Louisa’s vegan ice cream and it was special and delicious . The thick layer of chocolate on the top make it unique . I really love this place and owner is an incredible talented and intelligent business woman who loves her job. Staff and service were excellent too. Keep up the good work !

Their chocolates are delicious and vegan. There's a good selection of chocolate bars and you can create your own custom boxes of chocolates with lots of flavours. The staff are great, friendly and enthusiasticWhat I like the most is their ethics, by dealing direct with the farmers they are getting great chocolate and the farmers are getting a decent income. The farmers can afford some of the things we take for granted, like being able to educate their children.Great shop, great chocolate.

This place is the perfect chocolate shop in Nottingham. Luisa has a gorgeous range of chocolates to chose from and can speak to you directly about how they source their cacao and care for the farmers. I tried the passion fruit white chocolate which is the nicest white chocolate I have ever tried. I thoroughly recommend Luisa's chocolate if you want a treat that feels good.

Absolutely delicious vegan Chocolate from such a lovely business, local to me too which makes it even better. The Passionfruit bar surely deserves a Taste " Award as it is literally the best thing I've ever tasted. I first tried it from Selfridges and thought - I need more of this! Thank you so much for a fabulous and informative online chocolate tasting evening. Both Luisa and Isabella were an inspiration and I loved hearing about the amazing 'women in chocolate' throughout the supply chain. Luisa's business is ethical and sustainable, supporting women in farming in Colombia. I also loved Luisa's chocolate - so much so, that my partner and son have since purchased me some more products through Luisa's website for my birthday and Mother's Day. Can't wait to try them!
