Stitch-express

Taken 2 items to stitch express, one to be altered and one to be repaired. Absolutely faultless work. The alteration was absolutely bang on to my requirements and the repair on a jacket was so good if I didn't know which sleeve had been repaired I wouldn't have known. Great prices and a top team, will recommend. P

Completely ruined a bridesmaid dress I took in, firstly they hadn’t even started the alterations when I went to collect it at the arrange time(!), then I was unable to try the dress on in the shop once ready so I was very disappointed to see the incredibly poor, rushed alterations, which meant I had to spend >£100 on another dress! Really rude service too, made to feel like an inconvenience. Would not recommend.

Always a great job on any garment I’ve put in for alterations…… my only gripe is prices charged. Shortening and hemming especially I think are charged too high. Otherwise brilliant

I took in 67 pieces of what I am going to recover my 2 settees . I asked if they could overlock all 67 items around each side . They did a brilliant job and made my work much easier. I would highly recommend their services. Pricing excellent value .

Brilliant service throughout and great job completed. Thank you. My wife dropped off 2 pairs of trousers to be taken up and they were ready to collect at the end of the same day.

Took 2 dresses in to be shortened. One was ok the other hadn't even been touched but I'd paid for both. Unfortunately I didn't check what had been done until I got home. Definitely won't use again.

I've used Stitch Express for many many years. Alway take our family's alterations in but my last experience, I won't be returning! Absolutely terrible customer service. Especially the lady working there on Saturday so incredibly rude.I've only ever left positive reviews for businesses but felt compelled as I'm just so disappointed.

I was stood outside Stitch Express for over 30 minutes (arrived before 3:30pm 13/08/22) to collect a dress they have altered for me, when I dropped it off I asked what time they shut on Saturdays and was advised 4PM. Note on the door says they will back in 15 minutes - no one has showed. Now past 4PM when they close. Very angry as this dress was being altered for my holiday which I go on tomorrow AM (14/08/22) The dress was booked in for collection today (Saturday 13/08/22) my phone number was taken when I dropped off the dress, if they planned to close earlier than advertised I would of expected a call to warn me of this. Will be making a formal complaint when I am back in the UK as I am very unimpressed and disappointed in this level of service. Negative 1 star.
