Good service at a good price and friendly staff.

Went for a health check, couldn't open my bonnet afterwards when I went to their retail store immediately after.Went back to explain the situation that happened after their check. Nothing but passing the blame onto me and making it out like it was my fault.Wouldn't even offer to fix it, only to price me up for a new latch or to break it even further so I can open it more.Terrible customer service, escalated to the regional manager who wanted me to go back to the same service centre to investigate further. He wouldn't even talk to me over the phone, pathetic. Would not use again or recommend to others.

Took my car in for a repair, they were very busy but said they would do their best to get the job done ASAP. Did the job the same day, I was very grateful. Also a great place to get an MOT done. Five BIG STARS.

My car fail MOT because parking brake efficiency below requirements, I understand that, but nobody see this.

Will never use this autocentre again...1) We have dashcam footage of them essentially slagging off the car and repeating the crude and inappropriate statement to a colleague.2) They then proceeded to treat my car as if it was his plaything and revving the life out of the engine as he pulled the car into the garage space.3) Was told they didn't have a technician to do my first service so it may take all day - implying that someone not qualified to do the service would be dealing with my car.4) Tried to bring it again for a service to be told it cannot fit on the ramps due to the side splitters. The same side splitters that were fitted in February when it had it's service at the same place. We also have dashcam footage of them driving the vehicle onto the ramp and then they still claimed it didn't fit!5) When bringing up an issue with the clutch pedal, they were quite dismissive when I brought the issue up and they informed me that they won't bleed the brake fluid as part of the service, it would just be replaced... In my opinion, an important part of changing the brake fluid is to bleed the system and ensure there are no air bubbles once the fluid has been changed.An all round terrible experience with this autocentre. They clearly do not value their customers and are quite happy to be highly inappropriate about paying customers vehicles.The staff that work there clearly are not representing the Halford's that I know and have used previously for various MOTs, services and in store shopping.

Very efficient and helpful. Re-gassing my car and supplying and fitting a new tyre to my husband's car after an unexpected puncture.

Took my car in for an MOT, it needed some minor work done to pass.I turned up to collect it, paid and was given the keys back only to pull off and out into the main road which I almost crashed into an oncoming Van due to there being no power in the steering wheel.When I stepped back into Halfords to tell them what had just happened, the attitude and response from Tay-yib (the manager) was ridiculous. As if it was my fault and nothing to do with them.Turns out it was their fault, they had fitted a faulty part and the car wasn’t given a test drive. Wouldn’t recommend.

Dropped the car today at 8:30 for headlight alignment due to MOT failure, only to be told when I called before 2pm that they couldn’t do it as the headlight was structurally damaged and required a replacement which they quoted for over £500. Took the car straight to the body shop that replaced the headlights earlier this year to be told that it looked like somebody pulled the adjuster out, but the headlight was not broken inside in any way and advised me that I was being scammed. I’m very disappointed. Only waisted time going there and surely won’t be back again!

Mr McIntosh did an excellent job with my mot. Nice guy and an asset to the company.

Been in for fitting two tires and do the alignment. When I was coming up to the shop to get the car I caught one of the employees driving around the area in my car. Why? You don't have to test drive a vehicle only for that, and not telling your costumer that you will be doing it. Never again in a halfords.
