Definitely to be visited when in London! Amazing selection of unique yarns and very beautiful space to come and knit! the owner is extremely friendly and is always happy to help or order specific colour for you. Am very much looking forward to knitting classes and events that are organised soon!!

My Ivory Room should be on everyone's bucket list for knitting supplies in London! It's an amazing space with carefully curated selection of notions and yarns, many of which I haven't heard of before. It's honestly like going on an adventure. I absolutely loved the natural light in the shop as well - it made yarn selection and colour matching so much easier. The owner Valentina is very knowledgeable, friendly and passionate, and she has truly managed to create a really warm concept shop where fellow knitters can socialise and work on their projects. I've also ordered things online - the packaging, care and attention to detail was truly phenomenal and heart warming. I hope to visit the shop again very soon.

What gorgeous shop! Beautifully curated selection of yarns and brands (some that I've never handled before). Valentina is very welcoming and friendly. Came away with some lovely mohair, brimming with ideas.

So happy this shop opened! There is a great selection of yarn here catering to folks who want both bold colours and soft neutrals, which is very appreciated (lots of shops seem to focus on one). They also are the only shop carrying Majo Garn in the UK, which is really exciting. I went on random day off to shop and chill, and it's a gorgeous place to relax- Valentina definitely encourages you to sit and work on a project if you want. Will absolutely be back and recommend a visit!

This place was so needed for Chiswick and I am so glad I found it through Google maps! Valentina has really created a beautiful and inspiring space in the heart of Chiswick! She is so incredibly lovely and has a wonderful array of yarns to chose from! Communication was top tier and she is just such a lovely person! I can’t wait to attend one of the crafting nights once I have more free time! I will definitely be back soon! My new go to yarn shop from now on!

Valentina has created something special here! A beautiful light-filled studio where you can browse and buy yarn and yarn supplies. You are welcome to stay a while and meet other knitters over coffee at the large central table. Such a welcoming, friendly space in the heart of Chiswick. I'll always drop by if I'm in the area!

Wow! There are not enough good things to say about this yarn store! Valentina was so gracious, friendly and kind. She has such a thoughtfully curated selection of yarn, I think I wanted to walk out of there with 1 of every kind she had in stock. Be sure to visit there if you are ever in London, you will not regret it!!

When I heard that a yarn shop/knitting studio is opening in London, I was over the moon. It was my dream to have a place where I could go when I want to knit and be surrounded by yarn and of course meet other knitters too.My Ivory room sells yarn and all you need to take your knitting to another level. The yarn that you find there is picked specially and has high quality. I bought some knitting needles which I got in love with them and I think I NEVER can knit again with other knitting needles again.Love this shop and will go there again and again and again ,….

I popped into My Ivory Room hoping to find a nice yarn to commemorate a visit to London. What I found was much more valuable.As a beginner knitter, Valentina gladly let me wander her studio wide-eyed, touching the beautiful yarns, and skimming the books. When it was clear I had no idea what I was looking for, she guided me through her offerings and tried to understand my imagined project. Armed with nothing more than a pattern PDF on a tiny cell phone screen, she suggested yarns and a technique I never would have considered - or even known to do (remember - I am a beginner). In the end, I definitely got the trip-recalling yarn, along with a new skill and a project I am proud to wear.If you visit My Ivory Room, Valentina will confidently guide you through the yarns she chooses to stock (mainly as a source for interesting European offerings). She also isn't shy about recommending other shops if hers doesn't cater to your needs. In Summer 2023, My Ivory Room is on the ground floor of a work share building.
