G S Solicitors

We used G S for conveyancing on both buying and selling as they were recommended by our estate agent. We received poor service and communication especially from the locum who dealt with us. We would not use G S Solicitors again.

At the beginning of my experience with GS solicitors they were professional.It took 4 months to complete sale and purchase, constant chasing.Slow progress.On the day of completion the solicitor was ill, managed to complete the sale, and transfer the pay to themselves, but not my money. They didn’t have any contingentsy plans in place, weren’t prepared to bring anyone else to complete the job.The secretary became hostile, catty, and didn’t even bother to let me know when my money entered my bank account.All the documents provided from the sale were never returned to me. I don’t need them, but the buyer does.Would never recommend to use them to anyone, not very professional behaviour and who cares about the client.Estate agents were emailing to me to say GS solicitors do not respond to their emails. I’ve had to forward email snd copy all parties in. How embarrassing it must have been fir the solicitors.Not a nice experience.

I've used GS Solicitors for a house purchase and lease extension and both times received excellent friendly support, managed in a timely manner. I've never actually met the team and conduct all business over email. It's a perfect set up for me and works well.

We purchased our house with the help of Mark Hardy at GS and only have positive things to say. From the initial contact, Mark was helpful and diligent. He would keep us updated frequently and came back with all the documentation quickly. Would highly recommend working with Mark & the team at GS.

Good experience from GS solicitors. My purchase took 7 months in total so not quite 5 stars but Mark was a solid point of contact, answered emails straight away and kept in contact, would definitely use again if I ever move house!

I had a good experience with GS Solicitors over the period of a year with 2 properties (1 completed, 1 didn’t). My point of contact was excellent, very responsive, helpful and informative. I had minor issues with delays to issuing the report but this did not impact the sale with delays on the other side aswell. Overall a good experience.

G S Solicitors have been great throughout my house purchase. We mostly worked with Mark H and Katie who were both very responsive and always happy to talk us through things as we were FTB with no idea how the process works. Our sale went through quickly and their fees were competitive. Overall, I'm very happy with the service we recieved!

Purchased my first house and used G S Solicitors for this. Our solicitor, Mark Hardy, was incredibly helpful. Was quick to reply to any emails, and put up with my (basic) questions as I'd never bought a house before. Had quite a few hold ups from the vendors end, but Mark kept chasing. Have no complaints, great service and would use them again.

They were very approachable and provided us with good guidance when we needed it , even on the move in day!
