Jones Whyte

After a year of dealing with Jones Whyte with a divorce, I thought they were pretty decent at first. But as soon as anything required a hard press, or work, they shy away from it. They are there to collect the monthly minutes payments for the admin work. I'd advise getting a real lawyer and not a big company to deal with a divorce. I went through 2 of them, they are all the same. In the end they were charging me £277 for mistakes they made and admin issues. Utterly bizare situation - here is a quote from my dispute around this For the avoidance of doubt

Obvious elephant, Solictiors are really expensive. But, Jones Whyte are absolutely worth every penny. My family and I have recently had to rely on Jones Whyte for the commination and distribution of the estate of a dearly missed family friend. We found the whole experience, deeply distressing and prolonged as if the practice did everything they could to drag their feet during their time us and get as many payments out of my family and I as they could. We are only resolving the matter now and we lost our friend over two years ago. The prolonged distressed was caused by shady business practices, careless mistakes and disgraceful customer service from the practice consisting of disrespectful and intimidating language when contacting the practice by phone, post or email during a time of grieving.
