Barnshaw Pet Crematorium

The loss of my beloved Sarah after 15 years together, my first experience with the crematorium, I was very lost. Fortunately, I found such wonderful, caring and helpful people as Di and Chris. Di explained everything to me in detail, they accommodated our difficult schedule of the day. They both showed understanding and genuine compassion and I can fully recommend their services.

I can't recommend Barnshaw highly enough, my family and I recently suffered the loss of our beloved cat, Salem. I found Barnshaw on Google, and quickly discovered that they had the ethics and personalised service we were looking for, and the cost were very competitive.Di was lovely from the get go, offering support and talking myself and my family through everything.Unfortunately, literally 5 hours after collecting Salem, we had to have our dog, Shadow, put to sleep- Barnshaw was without question our first choice for Shadow too.Di and her partner were again absolutely amazing, and the level of support has been truly unmatched.I have honestly been blown away by the compassion of Di and her partner in every aspect.Thank you Barnshaw, you made a heartbreaking few days feel somewhat more manageable, we will be forever grateful.

Diane and Chris made an incredibly sad time much more manageable and went well above and beyond to accommodate our very late, short notice, out of hours request for an individual cremation, whilst dealing with their own personal circumstances. I can’t thank them enough. They showed kindness and compassion from the initial email to us bringing our little cat home. Plus it was through their website that we found Silver Gate Vets who were also able to help us at very short notice.

After loosing our beloved cat in a very upsetting way I was so pleased I contacted Diane, she is clearly an absolute animal lover, we felt comforted to know he would be on his final journey with someone who cared, such a beautiful setting and a peaceful placeto say our final goodbyes to our boy.In less than 24hrs we have him home so we can lay him to rest.When we collected him there are so many lovely touches included that we can keep as treasured memories of him including his pawprintThank you so much we will be forever grateful to have found you

We used Barnshaw Pet Crematorium recently for our beloved dog and I can't recommend them enough. They made the whole process less painful by being compassionate and caring. They fitted us in when we needed them without hesitation. Their service is individual cremation and it's significantly cheaper than the service offered by our vets and far more personal. I can not recommend them enough.

I`ve contacted Barnshaw Pet Crematorium on the evening our chameleon passed away. Chris responded straight away on my email and was even able to collect our boy on the next morning. He kept us updated for every step. Brilliant service and really happy to meet him! Thank you for everything!

Chris and Di were so attentive and caring. Nothing was too much trouble. They treated our Bentley with the respect he deserved. From start to finish their service was impeccable. I would have no hesitation in recommending Barnshaw to whoever has had the unfortunate passing of a beloved animal.

We sadly lost our bulldog late on a Saturday afternoon but wanted to keep him at home for the night. On the Sunday morning we phoned Barnshaw and they were able to cremate our dog the same day. We were heartbroken with our loss but when we arrived Di was fantastic. She showed compassion and sympathy. She explained the procedure which put us at ease and seeing how clean the cremator & equipment was reassured us that we would only receive our Shanks ashes. She took a lovely paw print for us and also cut some of his hair for us. Nothing was too much trouble for her. Di knew how much we wanted our Shanks back home and was delighted when she said we could collect his ashes the same day. We received his ashes in a beautiful casket with an inscription we chose and our dogs paw print so professionally done by Chris. They are truely amazing in what they do and the care they show to the owners and animals is phenomenal. I would highly recommend Barnshaw Pet Crematorium to anyone who is unfortunate enough to lose their beloved pets. I wouldn't take my animals to anywhere else now I have experienced the care and compassion shown by Di and Chris. Thank you so much for helping us through our most difficult time.
