Our second stay for the scooter rally over the bank holiday weekend.Couldn't wish for a nicer place to stay and to be welcomed back was a nice touch.We had 2 four bedroom houses and couldn't wish for anything better nice and clean staff great and a lovely location fully recommend staying here.We are looking to book for the 2024 scooter rally

Just got back from a lovely stay at The Salterns Seaview Holiday site. We had a fabulous three bedroom cottage for the weekend. Great size bedrooms and bathrooms and a generous lounge and kitchen area. It was great to have the private decked patio area to enjoy the sunshine. It really is a superb and peaceful setting. I will definitely be coming back soon. Loads of easy parking nearby to the cottage and welcoming and friendly staff in the reception office. Dog friendly too !! A wonderful place to relax beside the seaside. Highly recommended.

Loved our overnight stay here, the 4 bed house was comfortable and had everything we needed. Nice easy walk out to the seafront where the children enjoyed searching for shells and crabs! Would definitely recommend.

Great place for a base . Easy to get around the IOW. Friendly staff and helpful. Located just minutes from the beach.. place is clean and well maintained.

The accommodation was clean, fresh and spacious. You will be encouraged to park at a distance from your accommodation in warmer months which could be considered unhelpful. There is a cafe on site and basic supplies at reception. A big plus is that the sea is only a five minute walk away.

Great little holiday cottage accommodation with self catering facilities. Dog friendly too. Very close to the beach. Accommodation was clean and tidy, just what you need. Nicely placed for day trips around the island.

We stayed in a 2 bed chalet. The place was clean and tidy but small for a 4-person family. It is only a small walk to the beach but the beach wasn't fantastic, the sea comes right in and although it's nice for a stroll there wasn't much else going on. Can walk round to a better beach, though. Tesco extra was 8 miles away, and I found a few closer shops and a small shop on site. Went to the mermaid inn (not great cleanliness), needles are worth a trip, took us 50 mins to get to. Also went to Arreton crafts and the shipwreck museum, which are great. Monkey Haven was lovely. Sandown was great for sandy beach and a few stones. Little shop on the front sold some great icecreams and donuts (it was called milk). Picked up lots of sea glass there. Also went to carrisbrook Castle, which was lovely, great views and high walls to walk around. Got to the Isle of wight pearl - don't go there if you value your money (expensive) but choosing our own pearl and getting a necklace made isn't something you can do everywhere.Re the chalet - parking is in a car park unless disabled when you're allowed to park near the chalet. There are some nice outside spaces to kick a football about. Biggest surprise to us was having to pay to use WiFi- £26 for the week and that gave us 15 codes, so 15 devices could connect. Chalets are in blocks of 4 and not too bad on sound proofing but internal walls are thin. You can hear everything's kids say in the bedroom.

The only problem for me was my mobility scooter would not drive on the roads around thr Park. It was hard work for my husband taking it apart driving to the road and rebuilding it. We are in our 70s.
