Free Overnight moorings in a secure area right in the center of Manchester. Access to towpath side of canal is via a secure gate but locals in the village are happy to give access once they know you are moored for the night.The moorings are approx 1/2 way between Ashton Flight bottom lock and 'Rochdale 9' top lock on the 'off' side off canal - may also be listed as Telford Basin on some guides

beautiful place for a nice walk! although i would look up Ashton Canal to get better directions to this gem of a place, might just be me but i was very confused by the google location of this Piccadilly Village.

A hidden gem .... well located for Piccadilly Station and Northern Quarter but in a secluded spot, well maintained attractive development managed by owner/residents...comparatively big flats all with parking and private outside terraces or balconies, set in spacious lovely gardens and great sense of community...possible the best place to live in city centre.
